We checked in yesterday, saw Herman's Hermits, it was awesome! Peter Noone is very funny, think Hugh Grant in Music & Lyrics. The first show we tried lasted 10 minutes and was rained out, the next show was fine. Then today we saw Peter Noone walking in front of us as we left BWV and walked to Epcot. I followed him in, he just swiped a pass like anyone else, then he met some friends in World Showcase.
Crowds are not too bad, we ate in Le Cellier, first time, had the specialty hamburger, the tomato stack and cheese soup. Great but so small, that is why the reservations are so hard to get.
Saw Captain EO and Electric light parade, retro stuff for sure.
We are on the first floor, standard view 1 BD room for just me and my 21 year old daughter, pretty nice to have my own sink and mirror. Usually at Disney we just go go go, this time we are taking the time to jog in the morning, relax with emails etc, then go out later.
Tomorrow-keys to kingdom!
BTW, I did get an 8 day pass, upgraded to DVC PAP at Guest Services, preserving the discount.
