Sitting here now in my 1 bed at BWV....Loving it!Arrived on Friday 15th for a one night stay in a studio..we paid cash for this night so I knew it would be preffered view..I was hoping for village green view but I only requested close to lobby as it was for only one night .
Checked in at 4pm and room was ready..great!...5th floor ..village green view..It was fantastic!
...Really lovely view of the boardwalk..very nice open balcony...We lucked out!..close to the elevator too...Next morning we were checking into our 1 bed for the next 6 nights. I went down to the lobby at 7am to check in...fully expecting to bring our bags down to bell services when we left the studio at 8am to go to epcot.
Guess what?...our room was ready!!!
.....I had requested 3rd floor or above as my priority was getting an open slatted balcony..not the closed in ones that are on the 2nd floor and I was keeping everything crossed that I wouldn't get a closed in balcony on the 5th as there are a few.We had been allocated a room on the 3rd floor crest of the wave....I was ok with this as i know they are open balconys and they have great views....but being mindful of the long walk I asked if there was anything a bit closer to the elevators.
Yes!...there was one other room available...5th floor above thimble and threads...she checked..it was open balcony!....And it was ready now at 7am!!
We moved our bags straight way..just down the hallway from our studio on the green.
View is AMAZING!!
We have watched illunations every night...

So far everything has been very smooth with our dining plan and room charges...no trips to the front desk have been needed.
Weather is also amazing...no rain for 2 days now...mornings are cool and comfortable.
There is nothing like waking up to the boardwalk...sitting on my balcony with a cup of tea...

pixie dust at work....... and on overtime !
