Hi everyone, I am here at BCV. We have been here since Friday night. We are having a wonderful trip, with wonderful weather so far. We are in a 2 bedroom dedicated with 2 queens. No problems with the room, water pressure or thermostat. I was surprised to find quite a few nicks in the dining room table. We have watched Illuminations from our balcony almost every night. If anyone has any questions, I will check back later.

Yes, I have a question, what are you doing on your computer?

You're at Disney World.

Go have fun.:D

Seriously,

Was the dining room table in really bad shape?

Everything else sounds wonderful.

Have a good time.

Yes! What DVC goodies are there in the gift shop? IM trying to build a gift basket and need to know what's cool to order!

Hello: I read alot about road noise with the rooms that face the road/epcot, do you know if it really is a problem? If I was to ask you where would you request a room at BCV, we will be staying in a studio? High? low? pool view? epcot view? courtyard veiw? Thanks

Hey Terry, which room are you in? Have you found any other DQ rooms while you are there?

Did you hear that the Magical Gatherings info is out? I know you have a big trip next year with a lot of people.

Heard any new rumors since you've been there?

Are there activities at the resort for children like a butterfly release program or arts and crafts during the day? Also, what sort of standard food supplies are available there such as milk, bread, cereal, and soda and how overpriced are they? I hate to ask these questions since you are on vacation, so maybe you could just post the response when you get home if you don't want to do it there. We're heading to BCV over Thanksgiving.

Thanks in advance!

Terry,

It is going to be 80 degrees in Livonia tomorrow!!!!!;)

Enjoy your vacation! I have a couple more weeks to go until I am at the BCVs!!!

Are you doing any spa visits this trip???

Terry, hope you are having a wonderful time. I will be arriving at BCV on sat oct 11, with my mom, dh, ds9, ds4 and ds16 mos. This is my first trip home. Please let me know about the pool, if your not too busy. My sons are very excited about seeing it.

Maybe we will see you their.

Sharon

Just one.... What floor are you on???? :teeth:

Enjoy!!!

Thanks!!! Candy & Bob :wave2:

Well gang, just spend 6 hours at Disney Quest. The kids love it there!

floridafam... Yes, I was really disappointed to see that people are not taking care of thier "home". There were some pretty bad gouges in the top as well as the legs. My parents are here with us and my father even commented on how bad it was. It is their first trip home.

spot.... I haven't stopped at the gift shop yet, when I do, I will report back.

Canadian Tom..... The road noise does not bother us at all, but that is just us. An ideal room here for me would be what I am in. Epcot view, top floor.

zulaya.. No, no new DQ rooms yet. Haven't had to much time to explore yet. Yes, I did read your post on Magical Gatherings and I appreciate it. I am going to call MS when we get back since I already have the ressies for that trip. Thank you.

kpgclark... there is just so much to do at WDW in general that we haven't looked to much into resort activities. There is some stuff that goes on at SAB each day. They have all the grocery supplies that you mentioned, but they are a bit more priced than the grocery stores, but not too bad really.

Pinnie.... I can't beleive it, it was 40 when we left. No spa this trip, waiting for the big trip next time.

mom23boys.... My kids absolutely love SAB. I prefer the quiet pool since I can sit in a chair and see the whole pool, so I can watch the kids while I sit there and relax. At SAB, I kind of have to follow them around.

cdy16zz.. 5th floor.

Well, I am off to give the kids a bath. Will talk to all later. Heading to Magic Kingdom again tommorrow, have reservations at Crystal Palace for breakfast, we did Cinderallas Royal Table 2 mornings ago.

Glad to hear you're having a great time! Thanks for checking in.

If you happen to run across Lifeguard John at SAB, please tell him hello and wish him a happy 21st birthday coming up next Thursday.

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

He really enjoys meeting people from the DIS.

RweTHEREyet.... Thanks for letting me know his name. I have been thinking of you and your son and reading all the lifegaurds name tags to see if it might be him, but didn't even know what his name was. I guess I thought it might say RweTHEREyet's son? Anyway, know that I know his name, I will check.

Terry............Have a "great vacation"!!

I really want a canal view, lower floor room with a big balcony-Can you give me any idea of what area that might be in or what "view" I should request?

Sorry about that Spot! I did stop by and it was kind of limited. There was the tote bag that I ended up buying, it is a beach type tote bag with a zipper so I bought it to drag things down to the pool. There is also a T-shirt and a golf type shirt that say DVC. That was all I saw.

Terry,

Is your Epcot view as good as in the past? If so, how do you do it?! :)

I am not there now guys! I wish! This thread was from last month. Spot pulled it up from then to ask a question that was asked when I was there. I don't go back for another 6 months!
