Asus Desktop Computers

Anyone have an opinion of them?

I bought one back in June and it's been fine. It was the best value for the processor speed I wanted. When I was setting it up for the first time, I had a little glitch with my power. Then Windows would not set up properly. I immediately called Asus support on a Sunday afternoon. I got someone within 3 minutes who walked me through a "fix" and I was done in about another 5 minutes.

I have never bought an Asus computer but I can tell you that I have built a lot of computers from scratch and Asus make some of the best motherboards on the market.

Anyone have an opinion of them?

We don't have desk tops but DH and I both have netbooks and love them. They are very good machines and no problems. One of my sales guy is going to get the 13.3" netbook/laptop hybred so we will have something else to compare. Laptop magazine thinks they are great machines.

Thanks all! It's getting to be time for a new computer and we just want an expensive, practical one. We don't do gaming, etc. I will use it to remote connect for work, pictures and video, and internet surfing. Asus has some great priced packages we are considering.
