Not a weird question at all...... I have a little story for you.
My son has cerebral palsy and had a brain bleed as an infant. He has had 3 eye operations to correct a severe case of strabismus (crossed eyes). His eyes are still not aligned properly and he does not have binocular vision. (He can't see out of both eyes at the same time)
He has astigmatism in both eyes and wears corrective lenses.
He fails EVERY SINGLE 3D test administered in the eye doctor's office.
On our first trip to WDW I avoided every 3D show because I didn't want him to be disappointed.
On our second trip we took our niece..... I didn't want HER to miss out on the 3D shows just because DS couldn't see it. So we took them to see Philharmagic. I explained to DS that he probably wouldn't be able to see the 3D part.... but he could still enjoy the show.
Well.... wouldn't you know..... he saw in 3D. I started screaming for DH who was sitting 3 chairs away from me...... I couldn't believe my son could see in 3D. I cried happy tears. I didn't watch the show..... I only watched my son reaching up for the 3D objects...... and I have to say..... watching him was the best show of all.
