What happened in the Terri Schindler-Schiavo case? Was that considered assisted suicide? I'm a bit confused on that.
No.
She was not capable of functioning.
She was brain dead.
She did not ask to be given a euthenasia. She had no means of communication. Simply being unplugged from a machine is not the same. Assisted suicide is a decision that is made by the patient first and foremost, and their family as well.
