Please tell me good things from check in to check out about music. We are checking in very late and just spending the nite then checking out in the morning and asking to have our luggage delivered to OKW where we will stay for the remainder of our holiday.

Is it noisy? Crowded? What are the rooms like? Is it true you can hear people in the next room? Is there only one bus stop at the very end? How long must we wait for a bus? Are they always standing room only? It is only for one night and cheap so I thought why not save money and get more dole whips but I have never stayed anywhere other than a DVC or POFQ.

I stayed at the AllStar Music during the summer, a pretty busy time and loved staying there.
The rooms are small, but if you are staying just the one night it will be fine (I was travelling solo so it was great for me). I stayed for 5 nights and I never heard the people in the rooms around me
There is only one bus stop (but alot of the resorts only have one stop) There are sections for each park. What I actually like about the bus stop is that there are queue lines for the buses. In some of the resorts you are standing waiting for the bus and people just surge forward, at the Allstar Music the line is chained off. The bad part about the bus stop area is that it is out in the open no shade or cover so it can be hot during the warmer months....and could be quite wet if it is raining.
I do not think that you'll have to worry about standing on the bus, you are just staying the one night and then going to a park in the AM, right, if you are going to an early entry park the buses might be crowded (just like any other resort) but otherwise you should be okay. Keep in mind that the buses stop at the Allstar Sports first, then the Music and then the Movies, so you have a better chance of getting a seat at the Music.
You really should have no problems staying at the Allstar Music, enjoy!

The buses arrive at the resort every 10-20 minutes sometimes during the busy hours they are even more frequent.

Bus rides are quite short from the ALL Stars according to PassPorter.com

MK 20 min---- 20 min-----25 min------10 min---20 min(mono)
Epcot 10 min-- 15 min-----20 min------10 min---15 min
MGM 10 min----12 min-----15 min------15 min---20min

DTD 15 min----20 min------20 min-----15 min---35 min

It only takes 10 minutes to get to Epcot, MGM and AK from All Stars.
MK is 20 min away. That's the same amount of time it takes on the monorail from the Contemporary.

A WORD ABOUT BUS SHARING

To me Bus Sharing at the All Stars is really a non issue.

In the mornings during Park opening hours each All Star usually has a dedicated bus.
During mid day it is usually just our stop and maybe one more on the way to the parks. On the way back sometimes it is all 3 but often Sports and Music share and Movies has it's own bus back. Each of the All Stars usually has it's own dedicated bus back from the MK.
That is a big plus. It seems like the Music bus stop usually has the shortest of the three All Star bus lines.

I guess some people who stay at POP see all 3 All Star names on the return sign of our bus stop when they head to the POP bus stop and think All Stars also has 3 stops on the way to the park.
(Even when we stop at another AS resort to load up it has not taken more than 5 minutes and we are on our way!)

The pools at The All Stars are very kid friendly.

When staying at the All Stars you can use any of the All Star pools.That means 3 main pools ,3 quiet pools and 3 kiddie pools to chose from.

The All Star Movie Fantasia pool has Mickey.

The Calypso pool at ASMU has Donald Duck.

And the Surfs up pool at All Star Sports has giant surf boards.

Can we keep our luggage at the front desk and just have them move it in the morning? I dont want to have to move bags around for just the evening. I am thinking of putting our toothbrushes in our carryone with a pair of shorts for everyone and calling it good.

Or should I just send the bags direct to OKW for the next day?
