We are considering shipping an inflatable twin size bed for DD to sleep on, in case we are unable to get a king and have to deal with two doubles. Can anyone tell me if there is even enough room for the inflatable bed in those rooms?

You can fit a twin air mattress in a value room. We put ours in front of the window and were still able to open the door and get to the bathroom at night. You might have to move the table and chairs a bit but it's doable. You can prop it up during the day on the wall between the bed and the bathroom.

How old is your daughter? It's my understanding that Disney will not allow two adults and one child over the age of two in a king bed room. Under the age of two is OK since it's assumed the baby will be in the pack-n-play.

DD is 3 years old, so that is why we are planning on shipping the bed out there. I figured our chances of getting a king bed is a long shot and we want to be prepared.

We have brought a twin air bed on the last few trips. We've stayed at POP and there's plenty of room for it. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 DD8 sleeps on it. I carried it in my suitcase-It doesn't even weigh that much.I think it's under 5#.

I don't know if I'll be bringing it this year since it takes up alot of room in a suitcase and with the airlines charging for suitcases now (hope no one else follows AA example) then it won't be worth it to pay the extra baggage price to bring it. I don't want to pay more for shipping it, or the extra baggage charge, than the bed orig. cost. The one I got was only $10 at Target a few years ago.

This year we may stop off at SuperTarget or Walmart on the way in and by a new one. Ohh....I have a great idea-how about a air bed swap?? I'm still running a fridge swap after 1-1/2 years! :rotfl2: :lmao:

Anyway, there will be plenty of room for the twin bed. Remember, the resorts offer a twin bed (for extra $) so there is definitely room for one. What we did when we left the room for the parks was lay the bed up against the wall so the maid could clean. That way we didn't have to reinflate it each night and remake it. :goodvibes We usually rearrange the room a little to fit the bed in a convenient spot. We like to put it where the table and chairs are and between the 2 beds. You just have to make sure you don't step on it in the middle of the night! :scared1:

Maybe we could just bring it in one of our suitcases. I am a Premier through United, so many of the extra charges for baggage do not apply. I can just bring an extra suitcase or duffel bag with the bed and air pump.

Just as long as we still have enough room for souvenirs. :)

You won't be allowed to book a king bed room with more than 2 people. Sorry!
