Can anyone tell me if they were able to get a code on these?:confused3 We are currently booked in POR but concerned about space.:earsboy: Got the fall code QXD for our room at POR Nov 30-Dec 6 which was a good deal but cancelled my ressie for the ASM suite to get it. Saved about $600 but wondering if we made the right decision? Should I keep calling to check for a code or just keep what I have? Thanks

availability of suites on a code are usually very limited because there aren't very many of them and the book up-so they don't need to discount them. Have you thought about 2 rooms at a value instead? that is what we plan to do next trip. More than POR but less than a suite. Request connecting rooms.

I agree with getting two rooms at a value if you can't get a discount on a suite. We stayed at POR for several trips with our family of 5. Our kids finally got to an age where we just couldn't all stay in one room for over a week! We would like to try a family suite, but have never gotten lucky enough to get a discount on one. We have stayed in 2 connecting rooms at both Pop and AsMu. The extra space is a godsend! Having 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms can't be beat, especially with 3 pre-teen girls! We were able to get discounts on the 2 rooms (both times in Oct), with a total of around $120-130/night (pre-tax). That can't be beat! I have read elsewhere on these boards that connected rooms are not guaranteed, but only a request. We have gotten connecting rooms both times without a problem. :)
