ASMU--How Many Got It??

I had called this morning because I wanted ASMO for 9/18 thru 9/24 but there was no vacancy

So I asked for our second choice which was POP but there was no vacancy

So I said "Ok what about ASMU?" and they had it

It was our third choice but hey it'd Disney with free dining,right!!


So how many of my DIS friends will be at ASMU and what dates??

I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting some this trip!

We will be at Music Sept17-23 really wanted Movies but didnt get it.
We have not stayed at Music so at least it will be something new
and Free Dining its all good right

We will be there From Aug 27th to Sep 2nd!!! ASMu was my first choice, but I would have liked a "preferred" room, couldn't get it - they were sold out! We did get a standard room though and I figure I just saved $81 so I can't complain!

My sister and BIL wanted ASMo standard for 9/16-9/24 but they only had preferred (or maybe were completely sold out?) so they moved to ASMu standard for those dates. (She's grumpyswife925 but rarely has time to post)

I got music for 8/24 - 9/1 (Two connecting Rooms). Needed two reservations in order to get free dining. I had to book a room only package for 8/24 - 8/25. 65.00 / night on the room only with AAA Discount.

Man the resorts are going to be crowded.

I don't think they will be that crowded - there was only a limited number of rooms available with the FDP - If you go to the regular WDW reservation webpage and check availability, almost every resort still has rooms available at those times, just not ones with the FDP!!!

Hi everyone, first time poster here. We got Music 9/18 - 9/26. We were at Pop but had to switch when adding free dining. We have never stayed here before, but from what others have said I think I will like it just as much as Pop.

Hey, thanks everyone for the welcome. I read the posts all the time and decided to register so I could post too. This will be my 9th trip but my first at all star music. Going with my daughter and best friend...can hardly wait!

We'll be there..9/12-9/16. I tried to get POP (my dd's FAVORITE place), however as we all know, it wasn't available so we settled for ASMu. I am a little nervous, but as long as I am at Disney, eating for free at LeCellier's, Wolfgang Puck's, Mama Melrose's, & Crystal Palace, I CAN DEAL with it!

I was the most concerned about my ADR's but I got 1st choices on all of them, so in the end I am a happy camper!

I plan on decorating our window I made a string of green mickey heads that say Boo To You and I also made sign that says Dis-er and also have green xmas lights for the window all from last Oct trip. Hope to see you all.
My DD and husband and 2 grandchildren will be staying at Music also its their first time for the Free dining and Halloween Party so another window to decorate just hope we get rooms close together

We have the same dates! Just called this morning- of course we couldn't get POP or ASMo either. We've stayed at ASSports before, so I figured it was best to try something new!

I was also surprised that I got my first choice on all the dining since we're already past the 180 days. Of course we're not trying to get princess meals this trip, so I'm sure that helped!

Hey Mickeyluver37, glad to meet you, maybe we can arrange a dismeet. I am going with my DH & 2 DD's (3 & 7 yo). It is our first time there as well. I really wanted perferred but had to settle on a standard room. Where in Maryland are you from??

Count us in. ASMu was my 3rd choice. Tried POP then CS and then ASMu. We'll be there 9/21-10/1. I will be decorating our windoe w/ lights and signs after all it will be my Princesses 7th birthday oh and my 10th ann.

I'll be there Sept 17th to 28th. Was hoping for Pop or ASMo but am very glad to have free dining at any resort . Actually the more I look at the pictures the more excited I am.
