Is upgrading to the Fantasia building worth the $66?

We stayed in the Fantasia building I feel it was not worth the extra money. Our room was close to the Love Bug section, so it was no closer to the pool or anything else. The Toy Story buildings and Dalmations were alot closer to the pool and the main building then we were.

We never stay in the preferred buildings. I don't want to be close to the pool noise. At Movies we've stayed in Toy Story and Dalmations and we;ve been luck to be towrds the end of the building closet to cinema hall. It was quite close to that and the pool. For quiet, I suggest asking for a room not facing the center courtyard where all the icons are becuase there was a lot of noise late from kids running around & having fun looking at everything. The next time we were there we got a room on the back of the building..no noise.

BTW, is that $66 total? I'm going to assume yes. But still, I wouldn't. Last summer, my DH left a few days before us and the kids and I then switched from CBR to ASMo. We had been a pretty good distance away from Old Port Royale at CBR & at Movies, the Cm said she was puttin gus in Mighty Ducks which is the last building an that side. I expalined that we had just spent a wekk with really long walks to eat at CBR and could she please find something in either Toy Story or Dalmations and she did. It was close & quiet & no extra charge. We had requested 1st floor so she was trying to accomodate that request but I told I didn't care which floor it was just not such a far walk. And it didn't cost anymore.

When we went we had to pay $10 extra a day for a preferred room.

We stayed in the Dalmation building and it felt like we had just about the same walk to the food court and we had been between both pools. I would personally would not pay more to upgrade at the ASM.
