ASMo Value Season Quieter? Wishful Thinking?

We're planning on going to WDW for the 1st week of October...maybe 2 nts. at ASMo, then on for 5 nts. at WL. This will be the first time we've ever stayed at a Value. I'm prepared for the smaller rooms, few amenities, etc. But, DH really likes peace and quiet. Since we're going off-season, if we request an upper floor room in a quiet area, would it be more likely to actually be quiet than if we were there in July?
