Asking for prayers please for 1st grade cancer patient.

Today, I ran into an lady I barley know to say hello to. She looked overwhelmed and confided in me that her small daughter has just had surgery at Sloan Kettering (Sp). I will never in my life forget the look in her eyes. She told me she did not want everyone to know so I promissed that I wouldn't say anything to any one. I did promise that I would pray for her daughter and her family. We were both on the verge of tears and I didn't want to upset her more with any other questions, so all I know is what I wrote here. I do believe strongly in prayer and even though I promised not to tell anyone we know, I feel the need to "acquire" prayers for this little girl and her family.

So I am asking you, my Disboard family to pray for this little sweetie, you could just refer to her as "A.J." in your prayers.

Thank you all in advance, I may not ever have an update on her condition, because as I said I hardly know her family, but as we all know prayers are answered.

What a sad coincidence but we just found out today that my DD's teacher's 7 yr old daughter lost her battle with cancer and died in their arms last night. She was sent home on hospice last summer but proved them wrong so she could live her dream and start school! Was too sick for kindergarten.But made first grade and got to eat strawberries her 2 wishes. I haven't cried so much since my Mom died. Prayers for this other little one may she make it.
