Asking for a thread to be closed?

Can I request a thread be closed if I didn't start it?

Who do I contact (and how, PM?) and how long does it usually take?

You can report it, and if the moderator agrees they can close it.

Just use the little triangle, I think it's on the left.

My understanding is on the post that you are concerned about, in the bottom left hand side of any of the posts, there is a icon that looks like a yield sign. When you put the mouse over this, it will say "Report Bad Post". If you click on this you should be able to send a message to the moderator letting them know about your concern. I have no idea how long it takes as I've never done it. I just read it in one of the posts on proper etiquette on this board.

You can, if it totally goes against the guidelines of the board, you can report it, using the

in the lower left corner of every post. That will alert the moderators of that board. If not are around and you get zippo response, try emailing admin@wdwinfo.com, that goes to all wm's.

I reported at least one post on the thread...but I'm sure that could take some time. I was just wondering if there was a faster way...
