Asking for a kid's menu...

Is it strange for an adult to ask for a child's menu, just to look at the options? There won't be any children at the table, and I won't be ordering anything from the kid's menu. But I am just interested in looking at it, especially the pirate night.

Definitely interested in the answer to this. I'm not a big or adventurous eater so I've been a little nervous about the dining room meals!

Not at all. I ask for the kid's menu most nights. I'm a fairly plain eater, and sometimes what's on the kid's menu is more appealing.

This is good to know for my DH who is not very adventurous when it comes to food.

It's on pirate night that i order from it! The vegetarian options from the main menu do not suit my palate so it's Mac and cheese night for me.

Just ask for it or look at it on the app.

It's not a problem at all, I do this all the time. I tend to get an appetizer and/or dessert from the kids menu and the main course from the regular menu. You can definitely pick from both menus.

DD25 ordered off the kids' menu every evening without any difficulty or questions. A few times, they even made her something (very simple and plain) not on the menu.

You are welcome to order off it. Also, if you want something not on any menu, ask for it. They have brought my selective eater baked potatoes, plain pasta, ect.. just for the asking. They will also put everything on separate plate if you need that ;)

Our table had a kid, (but at 4 years old wanted steak or fish each night from the main menu)...but her father ordered a bowl of mac n cheese each night. LOL. After about the 4th night on a 14 night cruise, they just started delivering it in a family style sized bowl without us even asking. The first night it came on a kids' divided plate. LOL
