Asking experts: Best dates to see MVMCP

I usually prefer at go to WDW in January since I hate crowds, but this year DW has taken over payroll for alady we went to FL for 3 months, so our vacation needs to be rescheduled.

So I was thnking... it would be nice to see the Christmas decorations, and we've never been to MVMCP (do I have it right? Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?) so when would be the best time to go (least crowded weeks)?

Other tips like best day to see the Christmas parade, when not to go, etc. also appreciated.

The first 2 weeks of December is a great time to go!

We always go to MVMCP Sunday or Tuesday in the first half of the month, it has never been very crowded. I was able to get tickets the day before, it was nowhere near soldout. Friday nights usually sellout in advance, in November sometime.

The Christmas Parade only runs during MVMCP until after the last party is over (usually around Dec 20). After that, it does run during the day. They sometimes have a taping of the TV Christmas Parade early in the month, usually the first weekend.

Also be sure the see the Candlelight Processional and Osborne Lights (if they have them, did not last year).

Of December is a great time to visit WDW and go to a MVMCP.I would go to any MVMCP other than one scheduled on a Friday night they tend to sell out and be most crowded.We've been going to MVMCP each year since 1992 and Tuesday or Thursday is our favorite day to attend.

Is is always on the same nights of the week each year? We are hoping to go on Tuesday, December 14th this year. When do they start posting the dates?

They usually going on sale around the end of April. The last 2 or 3 years has been Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Before that I think it was Monday, Thursday, Friday but they have added more nights since.
