Askershus... should I try something different or keep it?

We have never been to Askershus, but with all of the places to eat at WDW I am wondering if I am better off trying something different for dinner. We have an 8:10am adr. DD would love the princesses, but we have a CRT for dinner also.
Is Askershus worth it? Or is there somewhere better for dinner? We currently have Biergarten, Ohana, H&V, and Chef Mickey for dinners.

We just went to Askerhus in August for Breakfast and it was great! My 3 year old DD loved it!! I did not tell her we were going to the princess breakfast and when we got there and saw Princess Belle she could not control herself. They do a great job of getting all the characters to all the tables and they each spent a good amount of time with the kids(we were able to see Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Ariel). Now the food was just ok. It was Breakfast and you can't really mess up eggs and sausage and pastries but you are not really going for the food. We went Cinderella's castle about a year ago at Christmas time and we did not have the same experience. I did not think the characters interacted with the kids as much or spent alot of time with them they also seemed to rush us through breakfast. For the price I think you are paying to have a meal at the castle, I think you should not be rushed but I know they are on a time schedule for the seatings. I wanted that Disney moment with my DD at the Castle and did not get it. I was nervous about going to Askerhus because I was afraid of the same experience but I got my Disney moment and more!! my DH and I both looked at each other several times with almost tears in our eyes because DD was so happy!princess:

I went there in April for my DD4. She loved it. Dinner was good. My mother and I enjoyed it. I recommend Swedish meatballs. The salmon is not to bad either.

We went there for breakfast on Sept. 14. The food is good. There's a cold buffet with fruit and danish and they bring the hot foods (bacon, sausage, eggs, potato casserole) to the table. My DD4 loved it! She was so excited she couldn't sit still. She had her picture taken with Belle (picture is included) and Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel and Sleeping Beauty visited our table. She is a huge princess fan so we also did 1900 Park Fair for dinner, and she still had to stop and meet the princess' in MK and EPCOT. So if your daughter is a big princess fan, you can't have too many princess meals and or meetings.

We have gone the last 3 years and even my older kids (15 &17 now) love it there for breakfast. The interaction was great even with older children and the princesses were especially nice and accommodating to the younger children. Even DS was bummed we weren't going back this year, but Mom trumped them with a Boma breakfast. (gotta try new things every once in a while). Enjoy your trip!

LOVE AKERSHUS!!! That was my DD7's choice for her birthday. Can't wait to go back. And...it includes the pictures. The food is yummy and the princess interaction was wonderful. I went to CRT once and I'm all set. I felt it was just way overpriced. So, if you are looking to change one, I would change CRT. I have heard people that love Teppan Edo. I really like the Crystal Palace as well for Pooh & Friends. Some also like 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. That is with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Step mother and Step sisters. Good luck with your decision.

We love the breakfast, but I am not dragging my picky DH to dinner there, and we don't have children.

We are having Christmas Eve breakfast there.
