I read in a guide book that the princesses were only at the Askerhaus buffet for a short time for each meal and that you need to book your ADR during that time? Is that true? How would you know the time frame that far in advance? I currently have a 6:05. Should I be trying to change it?

Once you check in for your ADR, you will be called and will have your picture (or anyone in the party who cares to have their picture taken) with the princess on duty. After that you will be seated and during your meal, the princesses will make their rounds to visit each table. Our experience at Akershus (lunch) was extremely positive. It was relaxed and the princesses were great with adults and children alike allowing for prictures, autographs and conversation princess:

I was there in November and the princesses were there the whole time..it just takes awhile for them to circulate the tables..it was almost 45 minutes before the first princess came to our table...I think we left before Jasmine arrived..it just took to much time! When we were in Disney a few years ago we did CRT for breakfast and the princesses came over much quicker..have a great trip!

I also agree both people who have already posted. We were there in Feb and they had 1 princess at the entrance that you could have a picture taken with and then they tried to sell you the picture. The rest of them circulated through the dining area at various intervals. This is the 3rd time we have done the princess meal, 1 breakfast and 2 lunches. With both of the lunches, we ended up seeing 5 princesses, including Cinderella both times. I think they have changed this since the first year we went and that was when breakfast was the only dining option for seeing the princesses. It is good food and a good way to avoid standing in line at the parks to see the princesses.

Hope this helps.
