What's the best gift your DH has ever given you?

He got me a ring for my 21st which was stolen. When we got married he managed to get me one exactly the same to replace it even though the shop had stopped producing them - they made him one specially I loved it the first time and second time round

Who makes you laugh?

The kids - DD is 4 going on 13 and DS is going through a cheeky phase. I find Dave Gorman very funny - just watched a DVD of a show we'd seen live and it still made me laugh until it hurt!

Which of the smilies best sums you up?

It hopefully lets me get away with being cheeky and naughty!

Are you a keen cook or do you hardly know the way to the kitchen?

I know the way from the freezer to the microwave I'm not the world's best cook but we don't starve.

Nearly 3 years ago - I didn't lurk for long as I had lots of questions I needed answering!

Hi Jo - no chance of sitting relaxing at all I am afraid, Josh would want me to splash him in the water or play ball or something....very difficult to get time to oursleves though naturally we like to see him happy.

Silly me! It must be really rewarding to see him enjoying himself

Clearwater is the nicest beach I have been to, lovely white sand, Naples the nicest place, quiet and classy - either is a sound choice but only if you want to relax.
For excitement, great shopping and things to do Miami/Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach cannot be beat, and all fairly close to one another.

Relaxing sounds great. Perhaps I could ditch the kids with DH for a day or two!

Sorry I have invaded the Community Board with Trip Planning stuff haven't I.

No probs We are all interested in planning to some degree as that's what brought us together and I've learnt new stuff about the coast now!

Back on subject:

Do you like beach holidays and relaxing or do you prefer to be always on the go and doing something?

Pre-kids (and actually pre DH!) I'd like to sometimes do a beach/pool holiday and read but these days it's all go, go, go! DH isn't great sitting in the sun doing nothing and needless to say neither are the kids. I have to be doing something whilst relaxing but there is no chance of reading these days so I'd rather be on the go too

I love MK at WDW As soon as I'm at the top end of Main Street any problems or stresses diappear and I feel like a kid again. I love the range of attractions and just the whole feel of the place.

When not being a small time crook DH works for National Grid as a data modeller and oil expert.

I don't actually respond to Joanne now - I actually have to think "oh that's me!"

What is the most you've spent on an outfit?

That would by far be my Wedding dress etc. Can't remember how much it was it total but it wasn't an obscene amount!)

What clothes do you wear most?

I'm def a jeans and casual top girl at the moment!

Handbags, shoes or not bothered?

My feet grow (again) last pregnancy so I don't have that many pairs of shoes at the moment - I eventually got rid of the ones that didn't fit as it not as if I'll ever get back into them. All my bags are the size of a truck and full of junk so I guess not bothered!

I's struggling to think of anything really horrendous.

DH did nearly once force me out of the car for singing along with backing vocals of a song. I had to stop it was miles from home and I have no idea how I'd have got back

No

Oh yes, guilty as charged though I am trying to cull at the moment but it totally isn't my nature to!

How often do you go out for a meal?

Apart from fast food not that often. Was just saying to DH yesterday that we must make the effort to get a babysitter more often.

Would love to a trip down the West Coast of the US. Some friends did it a few years ago and the photos were Fab!

I'd love to meet Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse who are the exec producers of 'Lost'. I want to know if its all going to make sense in the end!
