Ask Me Anything: Ask UKDEB Anything

are you watching Gordon Ramsay, good grief, whats going on with that sheep ?

Didn't even know it was on. I think Matt has deliberatey kept that to himself so he can watch a complete load of tripe. I'd say it's The Fast and The Furious. The reason I can say that with such confidence is that he's watched the same tripe many, many times. Exuse me for one moment whilst I beat him...

Evening Deb :wave2:

I've finally caught up with my questions so though I'd pop over to check up on you

Do you work normal 9-5 hours?

Do you have to bring work home with you?

Do you enjoy your job?

:)

Hi Lisa - lucky you! :rotfl2:

I work in a normal 9-5 hours type job, but I don't work 9-5. I actually work from home, going into the office for meetings, or when the fancy takes me (the Inland Revenue refers to it as "Location Independent"). I don't enjoy it at all - it's all very high pressure. I've been working for the same employer for over 27 years and I really need to do something different, but I just don't know what. :confused3

What's in your fridge?

Is Matt romantic?

Do you use Ebay a lot?

* All sorts of condiments and jams. Butter, milk, cheese, yoghurt, eggs. Vegetables, salad, herbs, fruit. Chorizo. Spaghetti. Fruit juice. Face mask. Then there's the wine and beer fridge. That has...well...wine and beer! :rotfl:

* No. He was once. I think it was once in 1985. :rotfl2:

* Not a lot, but neither am I oblivious to the ways of Ebay. :teeth:

Well I dont want you running out of things to talk about so:

Have you ever broken any bones??

Do you prefer ER or Greys anatomy??

Best band you have seen live??

Have you ever searched for hidden Mickeys??

What cd is in your car at the moment??

Do you watch TV in bed or read a book??

Morning Deb

What is your favourite sandwich filling?

What is your favourite fruit?

What is your favourite chocolate bar?

What are your favourite crisps?

What is your favourite restaurant in Orlando?

Laur's princess:

Name 3 celebrities you would like to meet and why?

When was the last time you cried?

Do you buy anything on line?

Have you ever met anyone famous?

How long do I leave the chilli to "simmer"?

* Yes, I fractured my elbow in PE when I was 8. It was the fault of a student teacher - he would have been in deep doo-doos these days. My Mum was at the funeral of family friend with my Grandparents and my Dad was at work. He couldn't drive, so he had to get a friend to bring him to the Doctor's surgery and then take us to hospital (I vividly remember the walk, with a teacher - Mr Woodward - to the surgery, in the pouring rain). The following day, my Mum (who could drive) took me back to the hospital to have it re-dressed (because it was my elbow, it wasn't in plaster, but in a sling). Half way throught the process, my Mum asked me if I felt sick. The nurse gave her a real telling off and, with that, I promptly threw up all over the nurse and the clean dressing. I've never known my Mum look more triumphant! :rotfl: It took months to heal - I went through lots of painful physio and had to learn to write with my left hand.

* I've never seen either of them, hon. Harriet loves Scrubs, so I occasionally catch that, if that's any help. :rotfl:

* Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger Sessions Band

* No - not really my bag.

* Keith Urban - Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing

* Well, both in a way. Matt tends to watch telly, so it's usually on, but I'm more likely to be reading.

Laur's princess:

* Chicken, lettuce, tomato and mayo

* Raspberries. Actually, I like most fruit as long as it's sweet and ripe with lots of flavour.

* I seldom eat chocolate these days, but years ago I loved the original biscuit Boosts. And Caramac. These days, maybe a KitKat Chunky or a Ripple, although I'm really not likely to eat one. :confused3

* I've never really liked crips, even as a child. I always think I should like Kettle Chips, but, whenever I try them, I find them too thick and greasy and the fantastic sounding flavours are always a disappointment.

* Well, I'm a real foodie and there are loads I love (most of them offsite), but if I must pick a favourite, I would have to say V&As.

Name 3 celebrities you would like to meet and why?

When was the last time you cried?

Do you buy anything on line?

Have you ever met anyone famous?

How long do I leave the chilli to "simmer"?

* This morning.

* Yes. In fact, I buy more and more online.

* When I was a babe-in-arms, Pat Phoenix opened a fete in my hometown. My Grandfather was a bit of a local dignatory and there are photos of them together with her holding me. When I was a kid we went along to the BBC or HTV in Bristol (I think) to see him in a local quiz "The Best in The West". We all got to meet the quizmaster, but I can't remember for the life of me who he was. :rotfl: When I was 15, I asbconded for the day to go to Top of the Pops (long story). I was onscreen with Kid Jenson and my friend and I also chatted for several minutes with Debbie Harry between takes. There are others, but I can't bring them to mind at the moment. Oh, I keep bumping into Tina Hobley in Tetbury. I think she's stalking me...

* A good hour, on a very low simmer.

I've just remembered that Johnny Briggs was on our flight to Orlando once.

Not that anyone wants to know, but I just remembered something. Alex Salmond stood with my DS and DH at an Aberdeen football match once !
Don't know who I feel the most sorry for now !! :lmao:

Red or white wine?

Favourite spirit?

Trousers or skirts?

Oh yeah - I bumped into Arnold Schwarznegger (sp?) at Silverstone. I told you there were more. :rotfl:

Hi Deb,

Are you enjoying answering these questions?

What are you doing today?

How many Disney t-shirts do you own?

Do you collect anything Disney?

Do you like Pin trading?

Slippers or bare feet?

Thanx Deb :goodvibes

Hey Deb. :)

Has Matt (Or your Ex-Husband for that matter) ever bought you something that is more for him than you?

Have you done the same to them?

* I don't agree with it. I consider it wrong to hit an adult, so how can hitting a child be justified?

* Fundamentally, the death penalty just feels wrong to me.

* I'm surprised he's not bigger in the UK.

* Interest seems to be waning :teeth: I think I'll cope for a couple more days.

* Yesterday evening I watched Eggheads, Great British Menu and The Apprentice. I've got some catching up to do with Ugly Betty which is Sky+d. :thumbsup2

* :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Nuff said!
