Ask Me Anything: Ask UKDEB Anything

Oh Yeah, Questions.. :rotfl:

We all know that Matt has Really Annoying Habits (Or so he says you say.. :rotfl: ), but do you have any really annoying Habits (or does matt say you have any?)

Who would you like to meet most on the DIS if you haven't already? (Obviously not me after this week!!! :lmao: )

And Finally, Have you ever played a Video Game Before? Do you own any Video Games Consoles in your Home? Is it more for Matt or for you? :teeth:

Have a good night! :)

what song would you like played at your funeral?
what song did you 'first dance' to with Matt?
would you like to be a fly on the wall at your own funeral?
which members of the congregation would you give a dirty big horsefly bite to?

Hi Deb

What is your favourite holiday drink?

What is your favourite holiday food?

Hi hon

What is the make of your mobile phone??

What is your daily newspaper??

Do you like Yankee Candles, if so your favorite smell??

:goodvibes :goodvibes

Deb, that sounds delicious! How many people would it serve and how much meat do you use?
For four of us, I tend to use 500g of mince. That would often also be enough for a bit of lunch for Matt and me the following day, although we do try to keep our portion sizes down these days. 800g of mince would serve 6-8 easily, although I don't really increase the other ingredients.

Gosh, I shall call you Lady Churchill in future and curtsety at your feet...

I know the chilli is fab, I am going to have a bash at your recipe on Friday ...

Now as you are being Delia, please could you share Thai Green Curry with us ?
You haven't been paying attention, have you? I've already shared that recipe.

Which DISser would you like to meet the most?

Any fears or phobias?

Worst/best physical feature?

What really annoys you?

What's the biggest lie you have ever told and who to?

Do you smoke and have you ever?

(btw thanks for the recipe, I'll try it at the weekend)

* He's not so keen on the spitting. :confused3

* Well, other than you (obviously :goodvibes ), I'd really like to meet Webmaster Pete.

* Have I ever played a video game? Sadly, I am old enough to have owned the original home video tennis thingy. And the orginal Space Invaders console. And a Spectrum 64. And an Amiga 500 - loved Megablast and Pong. Since I've been with Matt, we were early adopters of the original Playstation (i.e. we bought it on its release day for some ridiculous sum). Now, we just own a PS2 and a PSP. Definitely more for Matt. I'm quite good at Tiger Woods golf. I used to like Lemmings on the PC and Tekkan on the original PS. Also used to play Street Fighter on the Sega Mega Drive.

you should get a plehgm jar, I once saw that on the District Nurse with Nerys Hughes, the memory has haunted me

* "I Would Give Anything I Own" - Bread. My Dad liked this and he once told me it wasn't a love song. David Gates wrote it when his father died. We played it at my Dad's funeral.

* You'll be the first to know when it happens! :rotfl:

* Not sure. I would have liked my Grandfather to have been a fly on the wall at his. He'd have loved the turnout, especially as he lived to 93.

* Luckily for me, I don't hold grudges. I flare up easily, but I quickly forget. Live and let live, I say.

Hi Deb

What is your favourite holiday drink?

What is your favourite holiday food?

* Margarita. I know it's the most popular cocktail in the world, but presumably for a good reason, so I'm comfortable being boring. :teeth:

* Well, I love eating out at nice restaurants, but one thing I always have at least once on holiday is a really good burger.

:goodvibes :goodvibes

* Nokia 6310a? It's a work one. A bit old-fashioned, but a good quality phone if all you need to do is phone!

* I don't buy one. I pick up news from Sky News and financial news from my work intranet.

* I love candles, but I've always been a bit under-whelmed with Yankee Candles.

Right then, lets have a think:

Favorite Pizza Toppings??

You are invisable for the day, where do you go and what do you do??

I know you like cruising but what was your favorite cruise trip and why??

Can you tell me why the formulas on my spreedsheets in work today have not been working??

Did you play any sports in school???

My Ex husband is starting to talk nicely to me after 10 years, do you think he's about to stop maintenance payments:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:goodvibes :goodvibes

are you watching Gordon Ramsay, good grief, whats going on with that sheep ?

Debs, theres the perfect job for you, you could be Gordons new Fanny Craddock, what do you think ?

* Webmaster Pete

* Plenty. Historically, the worst was flying.

* Worst - being overweight. Best - used to be my skin, but that's definitely crepey now! Probably my legs, although they're inifinitely better when I'm slim. Actually, I'm quite happy with all of me when I'm slim and hate it all when I'm overweight.

* I get easily irritated at all sorts of things. I'm not very tolerant. But, then again, it's all very superficial intolerance. I'm really quite a softy and I don't like conflict. I'm quite conciliatory and compassionate, too and, the older I get, the more I see all sides of an argument. :confused3

* Well, I'm going to sound like a real good two-shoes, but I hate lying. My Mum hated it - it was the worst thing I could do. I quickly learned that lying got me into worse trouble than anything else. Sometimes I'm too honest for my own good. Don't get me wrong, I can fib like a good 'un when needed, but I don't do whoppers. By far and away, the biggest deceit of my life was when I started seeing Matt when I was still married to my first husband. Even then, it didn't go on for long and nothing really happened whilst I was still with him.

* No. I've never even put one to my lips. My parents were both smokers and it disgusted me. They used to send me to the corner shop to buy their cigarettes and I couldn't even bear to touch the packets - I had to get the assistant to put them in a paper bag. Even now, I recoil from them. Even to touch a packet, let alone a cigarette or an ashtray, would make me wince. :confused3

Evening Deb :wave2:

I've finally caught up with my questions so though I'd pop over to check up on you

Do you work normal 9-5 hours?

Do you have to bring work home with you?

Do you enjoy your job?

:)

:goodvibes :goodvibes

* Mmmm, pizza. I'm on a diet, cruel woman! :rotfl: Four cheese, expecially if one of them is goat's. Pepperoni or chorizo.

* To the house of friends (a couple) who stay together despite not being suited; to Jennifer Aniston's house to find out what she really thinks of Brangelina and Vince Vaughan; to the West Wing.

* I've only actually done two cruises (well three if you count the school cruise when I was 10). The first was a 4 day Disney Wonder Bahamian, the second a 7 day NCL Jewel Caribbean, so very similar really. They were both great for different reasons. I absolutely adored Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay. In fact, Disney has been very clever with all the adult only areas (pool, bars, Serenity Bay, etc) and you can actually have a more adult experience than with some of the other cruise lines. I probably enjoyed the NCL cruise more, though. We had a fabulous Romance Suite with a balcony at the stern; their Freestyle dining is a unique concept, works really well, and suits us (you eat where you like, when you like - more like making regular restaurant reservations); and the itinerary was a bit better. Sailing out of Miami, standing on our balcony with champagne in hand, was sheer bliss.

* Because you didn't trace your precedent cells? :confused3

* I was rubbish at sports, but I had to do them all because I was House Captain and it was expected of me. I was best at hockey. I liked the potted sports we did on the last day of term.

* My ex-husband has only just started to talk nicely to me after 14 years. I'm still waiting for the maintenance payments! :rotfl:
