Ask me Anything: Ask KristieUK Anything

Hi there !!

What's your favourite colour?

What make is your mobile phone?

Favourite flavour of crisps?

Hi everyone!

Sorry, I'm not ignoring you! I came to work early this morning to check for questions, but I kept getting a database error message - not sure if everyone had the same problem.

Anyway, just got back from Court, so I'll answer all the questions once I am home :goodvibes

Good Evening Kristie,

You're hosting a fancy dress themed dinner party.;)

What's the theme?

What would you wear?

Choose 4 famous women and 4 famous men (past or present)

What food would you serve?

What music would you play?

What drinkypoos would you serve?

Thanks :goodvibes

Gosh - good questions, had to think about these!

The theme I think would be Cowboys and Angels - I would definitely be an angel, but would enjoy looking at the cowboys a lot.

That kind of influenced my choice of guests....

Men - Elvis, Robert Downey Jnr, Bill Clinton, Davy Crockett (so I could ask him what really did happen at the Alamo)

Ladies - Marilyn Monroe, Hilary Clinton, Kate Winslet and Kirsten Dunst

It would have to be good old barbecue food - I love nothing more than being stood at the bbq cooking! Jack Daniel's steak, lots of sides.

I would just play dh's Ipod on shuffle - he has a massively eclectic mix of music (I couldn't trust my own tastes to satisfy everyone else!)

I would serve mojitos and margheritas.

Hi Kristie

You said you're pregnant, when are you due? How are you feeling?

How many other children do you have?

How old are they?

Are you married?

I am due 16th September, and feeling fine, thank you for asking!

I have one other daughter who is called Seren, and she is 7.

I am married - but only for six months or so! Got married on the beach in Florida last November.

Good Morning, how did you find your first day on Ask me Anything?

What's your fave Disney Restaurant?

What's your fave Universal restaurant?

Do you like Rollercoasters?

What's your fave coaster/ride?

Have you been to Seaworld?

Ever been to Discovery Cove?

Ever done a Disney Cruise?

Thanx Kristie.:goodvibes

Hi Audrey,

I enjoyed my first day of Ask me Anything - it's strange how it does get you thinking about yourself though - quite intriguing.

My favourite Disney restaurant is Cinderella's Table, not so much for the food, but the whole experience and seeing DD's face!

My favourite Universal restaurant is Jimmy Buffet's Margheritaville, not so much for the food, butfor the margheritas!

I love rollercoasters! I'm not sure of my favourite ride? I do love Space Mountain, but it's not so scary anymore.

I have been to Seaworld and loved it - not with DD though as she always asks for the other parks first, and also has had quite a fear of animals, although she is getting better now.

We have been to Discovery Cove. We loved the experience, but wouldn't necessarily rush back to do it again. It also rained all afternoon, so we spent much of the time huddled in one of the beach huts :sad1:

We did a Disney Cruise (3 day Wonder) after we were married as a special surprise for DD, and absolutely loved it. We have provisionally booked the 7 day Eastern for November 2008, but haven't told DD.

Hi:wave2:

What has been your favourite holiday, excluding Disney?

How many other countries have you been too?

Where would you most like to visit?

What is your favourite type of holiday?

It would have to be a week we spent in Nice when DD was 3 or 4 - it was magical, really quiet, and we spent a lot of lazy days on the beach at Juin les Pins.

I have been to France, Spain, Portugal, Tenerife, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, St Lucia, Bahamas, and America a lot! I travelled a lot down the east coast from Boston as far as NY, and have been to Atlanta, San Antonio, and Las Vegas as well as Florida a million times!

I would love to go to South Africa, and Hawaii.

My favourite type of holiday is one based on the beach, but I love the few days we spend in Orlando and shopping when we are in Florida.

Hi there !!

What make is your mobile phone?

Hi Sue,

My favourite colour is red.

My favourite crisps (if they count) are the spare rib flavour Sensations crackers.

Hi Audrey,

We do have a couple of matching Kenneth Cole cases, but then some random cases e have collected over the years. Nothing to be proud of unfortunately!

I fold my clothes but make dh roll his! He always takes way too many tshirts!

Yes, we always pack too much! And we always need to buy more luggage to bring things home, and dh's golf bag is stuffed to bursting with all the leftovers.

I am quite organised, but it's pressure of time organised, rather than well in advance organised.

I tend to get things started too early, and then end up in a last minute frenzy where everything goes in, because I forget I already packed 6 pairs of shoes weeks ago.

We don't do itineraries at all! It's a case of weather / tiredness and time to get off the beach.

Evening Kristie

When was the last time you went to the movies and what did you see?

Um, I think it was Happy Feet, which was ages ago, I think just after Christmas. Can't believe it was that long ago !!

Hello Kristie, sorry I've been so busy not neglectful! a few easy ones from me to start (and apologies if they've already been asked):

what is your favourite park and why
who is your favourite character
which character do you think you are most like
which character do you think sums up each of your children and your DH
which is your favourite Disney movie

Hi Kristie

Sorry I haven't been around earlier to ask you questions.

How did you meet your husband?

How old were you when you met?

What was your wedding dress like?

Did you have any bridesmaids?

Laur's princess:

A few more for your Kristie:

are you ears pierced?
do you have any other piercings?
do you have any tatoos? If yes where and what?
apart from anything bad happening to your children (because that's what all mothers worry about, isnt it?) what is your biggest worry?

Hi :wave2:

My favourite park is Magic Kingdom - purely because for me, it just sums up Disney - the colours, characters, and the feel of magic everywhere. It makes me cry every time I go!

My favourite character is a tough one! There are so many....I love Mickey and Minnie because they are the epitome of Disney for me. I have to so say, I prefer the 'traditional' Disney characters to the princesses. I would have to go with Mickey Mouse.

I am probably most like Minnie Mouse, in that I love my shoes and handbags, and being with my Mickey Mouse is when I am happiest! But I can have a bit of a temper when he has done something to annoy me.

DH is a bit like Dopey - not that he's dumb, but he can be a half soaked, and doesn't have a care in the world. DD is Tigger, can't sit still, always chatting on about something, and generally ten to the dozen about everything.

My favourite Disney film has again got me thinking - it is so hard to choose one! I love Lion King, for the music and the drama, but I am also a big fan of the big happy ending like Cinderella etc.... too.

Did you have any bridesmaids?

Laur's princess:

I knew Scott at school, and then we bumped into each other every now and again after that, but we didn't get together until he came to be wrking at the same company as me.

We were 11 / 12 when we initially met properly, but then I was 26 or 27 when we started dating.

Here is a picture of my wedding dress - easier than describing it!

DD was a bridesmaid, as well as three other friends.

Yes, had ears pierced when I was 8, but no other peircings or tattoos.

I am a big big worrier, I couldn't possibly limit to one thing! Work, health, dying in a plane crash, getting arrested for something I didn't do (or having to stand trial for something I was innocent of, an having a jury convict me), most of them are quite irrational, but tell that to my head at 3am

Here is the picture! Don't know what happened before!

I remember viewing your photos Kristie and they were beautiful :)

What is the biggest lie you've ever told and who to?
did you confess, were you found out or is it on your conscience?
What's you worst habit?
what's your DH's worst habit?
