First of all, please excuse me if I don't know all your real names and use your screen names. And remember, I have a young and impressionable penguin here :lol:

How did I find the dis: I can't really remember, I used to lurk a lot on RADP and then somehow I couldn't anymore so I went looking for another Disney fix and found it on the DIS. I joined fairly soon but lurked a lot before I finally posted.

can I answer the easy ones first: My first visit to Disney was in 1974 in Florida!! It was only the MK back then but I loved it!
I think my favourite memories are from that trip. I can vividly remember Pirates, going down that first drop and seeing the Wicked Wench, I was stunned!! Also we saw Donald Duck water skiing on Bay Lake, which really impressed me. And the hitchhiking ghosts, that was something that I will never forget.
Another memory is going back in 1997 and going on ToT for the first time. It had just openend and we went first thing in the morning and the queue was an hour!! The bit when the elevator went forward... OMG!!! Totally unexpected, I thought that was brilliant.

My favourite park: that's a difficult one, I love MGM and AK both. They are so atmospheric, and of course I'm an anmial nut so AK is brilliant. My fave ride is in a different park altogether and is Splash Mountain. It's such a great combination of story, attraction, detail, animatronics & thrill! And it's long as well!

Wils: JJ is now 10. And to make a long story short: we met in a gift shop in Best, the Netherlands where my parents were living at the time.

My dream holiday? We were talking about this the other day and I just couldn't decide, probably something to do with wildlife, spending a lot of time in a safari camp, going to different environments in Africa and Madagascar.

My best holiday excluding Disney was probably when I was in my early 20's and was backpacking in the Scottish Highlands on my own for 3 weeks..I know I didn't want to go back home!

The story of JJ.

Once upon a time there was a boy who was falling in love with a girl. And when he saw this girl he felt all hot and bothered so the girl told him to think cool thoughts... like icebergs and penguins.
And so the girl bought the boy a penguin for his birthday, that they named Jive (after an ice cream advertisement) and then they started to collect penguins.
One day the girl was visiting a small town and saw this cute penguin looking at her in a shop, so she bought him and took him home. This penguin was small and portable and looked really cheeky and they called him Jive Junior, or JJ for short.
Soon the boy and the girl went on holiday. As the boy and girl didn't like having their photos taken they decided to take JJ with him and take photos of him... and things just went downhill from there!!

1) My three wishes:
- World peace, love, tolerance and all that good stuff.
- My own wildlife reserve where I can cuddle tigers and lion cubs and other wonderful creatures.
- Continuing good health for everyone I care about (and myself of course)

2) Sorry Matt, I have no idea about Pokémon, but I looked some stuff up on the web and I'll be Prinplup, it's a Penguin Pokémon: It lives alone, away from others. Apparently, every one of them believes it is the most important.

3) I should of course say i'll sing a song with you shouldn't I ... how about "Girls just wanna have fun" with all the girls!

I'm an executive assistant/PA. Been doing it for 10 years now. I'm now in the non-profit sector working for an organisation that is sort of like Shelter in the UK. It works for homeless shelters/women's shelters etc.

I do actually enjoy my job. I love running around doing 20 things at the same time. But I must admit it does depend on where you work. In the corporate bla bla world I got frustrated, but here it's a nice place to work and you're treated as part of the team.

My dream job would be animal keeper/trainer in a zoo or wildlife park or being able to make a living out of being creative, an exclusive shop selling stuff I make..

I've been married for almost 7 years now, 21st June is our anniversary.

My DH's name is John

We met at work, he was working in the IT department, and we have now come full circle as he started at my office as a consultant for 2 months yesterday.

Can I just say my pelvic floor needs renovating so the last time I peed myself with laughter was probably not that long ago!! The last time I remember having an attack of the giggles when me and DH were doing silly sign language, with a turning motion for mayonnaise of all things!

My farts are the sneaky kind so I don't have to blame anyone else!

I'm too busy making new memories... I'm saving them all for when I'm old and grey and in a home. Then I'll keep the nurses busy falling out of my wheelchair from laughing!
