My daughter having a febrile convulsion and being rushed to hospital in a ambulance. I'd never heard of one let alone seen one and could not believe that she would'nt be brain damaged afterwards. Thankfully all was well.

Questions on the polite side, huh? You seem like a good laugh, so here goes.

Rough or smooth?
Have you ever kissed a ladee? If not, who would you like to kiss?
Tony, Matt or Ian? :rotfl:

Rough or smooth?
Smooth

Have you ever kissed a ladee? If not, who would you like to kiss?
No never but if I was forced to choose somebody - Jennifer Aniston.

Tony, Matt or Ian?
Tony - purely because we have the same little picture under our name.
Also my sister is now a Hogg so that would be too spookey Matt!

How many times a year do you go on holiday?

What type of holiday is your favourite?

Do you watch a lot of television?

Do you go to the cinema often?

How many times a year do you go on holiday?
We try to have a couple of weeks abroad in the summer and then a short winter break.

What type of holiday is your favourite?
Now it's anything where there's lots for the girls to do. If you're abroad you're guaranteed the sunshine so you can go to the beach everyday and build sandcastles which keeps them happy.
A break in this country needs the indoor activities as unfortunately you can't guarantee the weather!

Do you watch a lot of television?
Not really. I watch friends most nights at 8-9pm :happytv: and other than Depserate housewives, Dragons den and now the Apprentice that's about it.

However, I do watch a lot of disney DVD's with the kids on a Sat/Sun evening. I don't believe in shoving the kids in front of the TV but I don't mind if i watch it with them. :confused3 Daft I know!

Do you go to the cinema often?
We go to the Saturday morning kids club every couple of months but that's about it.
If I go out with hubby either alone or with friends we tend to go out for meals so we can talk. We don't go out often enough to sit in silence all night.

Do you like Harry Potter, and if so, who is your favourite character?
Haven't read these yet - waiting to read together with the girls.

Do you like Doctor Who, and if so, who is your favourite Doctor?
Haven't watched the new dr's but prior to this Jon Pertwee was my favourite followed by Tom Baker!

What was your wedding dress like?
It was Ivory with a short sleeved fitted bodice decorated with pearls.

Where did you get married?
I live next door to the village church so my hubby didnt have far to walk. :rotfl2:
Obviously I went from my parents home so travelled in style!
We had our reception at Wentbridge House and it was a fantastic day!

What's in your handbag?
Cr*p! Phone, wallet, purse (not much in it!), 2 pens, filofax, small pack tissues, lipstick, house keys, work keys, a small wooden pink pig which I carried home for Bronwyn and is still in there! Small tin of vaseline, paracetamol and ibuprofen, nail file. Some ladies things and then lots of fluff :rotfl:

Who do you most admire?

What skill do you wish you had?

Do you have a hidden talent?

Do you like to cook?

What 3 things would you rescue if your house was on fire?

Hi Janet, don't have much time today so I've just bundled all my questions together, hope your fingers don't hurt too much

Parents smacking their children do you agree/disagree

The smoking ban coming into effect do you agree/disagree

Raising the shool leaving age to 18 do you agree/disagree

Did you ever write to Jim'll fix it? if so what did you want him to fix?

If you were to write into a Jim'll fix it show today, what would you ask for?

What one possession could you not live without

If you were put on a dessert island what 3 items (not children or husband;) ) would you take

Do you believe in aliens

Do you believe in guardian angels

If you could ask God one question, what would your question be

Who do you most admire?
Any single mum I meet with young kids. I have 2 toddlers and if I didn't have hubby I'd have pulled my hair out and would have lost my voice from screaming!

What skill do you wish you had?
Public Speaking.

Do you have a hidden talent?
I have perfect pitch but it means I have to side with Simon Cowell so I wouldn't be very popular!

Do you like to cook?
If I have the time and ALL the ingredients in the house. If I had a penny for every time I get half way through making a meal to find I'm missing something vital!
Who would you like to interrogate next?
I think Carol should be madde to go twice! :lmao:

Do you think under age girls who get pregnant should be forced to terminate?
OMG no! If they chose to then it's their choice but if they want to keep it then they should be helped all along the way.

Would you always believe what your child told you, no matter what?
Oooh toughie. At the moment No. They're toddlers so don't understand the concept of lying - they just tell things how they would "like" them to be.
However, I would like to think that as they get older we gain a relationship where they can tell me the truth regardless of circumstances. :confused3

What 3 things would you rescue if your house was on fire?
Obviuously after DH, DDs & the dog.........
1) My jewellery as eventually it's for my DDs and if I'm in bed when the fire starts it's on top of my drawers as i go screaming past!
2) The discs containing all the photos.
3) my knickers.........

Point 3) I've had to evacuate the house before after being in bed and just pulled on my skirt. While the fire crew put out the chimney fire I was trying to stop my skirt blowing up in the wind! :rotfl2:

Parents smacking their children do you agree/disagree
Another toughie. I think I'd have to say No. There are other ways of discipline. I've only smacked my DD once and that was my fault for saying "if you do that again I'll smack your hands" and she did. I then had no choice but to follow it through but to be honest it didn't achieve anything escept to make me feel bad. I make sure I never threaten to smack them again.
HOWEVER, ask me again when they're older! :rotfl2:

The smoking ban coming into effect do you agree/disagree
Yes. As a non smoker I don't see why I should have to put up with their smoke which can cause Lung cancer. My uncle died of lung cancer and it's not nice!

Raising the shool leaving age to 18 do you agree/disagree
No. There are other ways to make sure all the kids leave with some kind of education for attending school since the age of 5! I think we should offer more skills related courses at the age of 14 rather than only exam related courses and we should inject some cash back into technical colleges.

Did you ever write to Jim'll fix it? if so what did you want him to fix?
yes I wrote to Jimmy. I wanted to meet Jerry Lewis!
One boy from my primary school got on the show as he wanted to meet Darth vader. 30 years later and he still gets ribbed about it!

If you were to write into a Jim'll fix it show today, what would you ask for?
A private concert with Elton John, Billy Joel, Paul Macartney and Neil Diamnond.

What one possession could you not live without
My hair straigtners. I can blow my hair straight but they just make it shiney and smooth. I can wash my hair and quickly blow it dry and then straighten and it's all done in 10 mins. If I had to blow it into style it would take at least 20 so that's an extra 10 mins in bed for me!

If you were put on a dessert island what 3 items (not children or husband ) would you take
A solar powered radio/CD player and a selection of discs :rolleyes1
a razor with spare blades, can't stand hairy legs :rotfl:
a swiss army knife

Do you believe in aliens
I think the universe is too large for us to be the only ones!

Do you believe in guardian angels
yes and I speak to them daily.

If you could ask God one question, what would your question be
How does he cope with his disappointment?
