Many of us do not have a marathon time to qualify for the Boston Marathon or might not have the time to get in through a charity. However, the B.A.A. is doing a virtual series that includes a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The Virtual is instead of these events that could not go live. You have to signup for all three for $120, but you get three shirts and three medals with famous B.A.A. unicorn on the medal from what I see on the website. Might be of interested and a rare chance to add a B.A.A. medal (although not Marathon) to your collection. Limited to the first 8,000. You can run the three distances between Oct and Dec

Here’s another chance at a medallion from another Abbott major. Not the Chicago Marathon Medal, but seems you can sign up for a mile, 5K, 8k or half. It’s free to sign up but you just add on a shirt and medallion for extra money. Good opportunities to get medals from organizations that put on Abbott Majors that you might not be able to get otherwise.

One of the bigger marathons in terms of participation is canceled. The Honolulu Marathon is going Virtual.... three different medals for 1 mile, 10k and Marathon... another unique opportunity to get a medal for a race you might not be able to get in a normal year.
