We are only eating one sit down meal in Epcot. My niece has narrowed her options down to one of these two restaraunts(sp?). I have never eaten at either one and price is not a factor.

If you had to choose, which one would it be, based on taste? And it won't be breakfast either.

Thanks

Ashkerhus has the princesses, so if she wants to have her picture taken with almost all of them, this is the place to go. Also, the food is pretty good. Appatizers are buffet, and there is a bunch of good stuff. The main course is sit down, and also very good. You also get a picture package with the price of the meal. And if your on the DDP, its only one credit. Good luck, and have a great time!!!!

For our family Biergarten is a must eat at every trip. Honstly, I think my hubby would be happiest if everyday of the trip he could spend a couple of hours slowly picking at the buffet while listening to the music.

We've been to each, and both are good, but provided you like german food, I'd recommend the german place

We have been to both and we love the Biergarten!!!!! it is an annual must!!!!!!:woohoo:

Although we like both, I prefer Akershus. The food to me at Biergarten is good, but I think Akershus' food is much better. My girls are also big princess fans, so they love the castle feel there and getting to see all of the princesses. They actually like eating at Akershus better than at CRT. You also get a photo set of the family/child w/ a princess is included w/ the cost of the meal.
Either way you go, you'll enjoy yourselves. We make sure to go to both restaurants. Have fun!

We have never eaten at Biergarten. Bue we have eaten at Akershus and we did not care for the food. We are going to try Biergarten this July.

Is your neice young? Would she like to have dinner/lunch with the princesses?

We did breakfast at Akershus....we enjoyed it, our daughter ate nothing but fruit (6 yr old). That same night, we did Biergarten. We all ate and drank wayyy to much! Even the 6 yr old.

Know which one she speaks more of? Biergarten! She loved the music (loud) and watching the people dance :thumbsup2.

Me and hubby, we preferred Biergarten too. The dinner menu at Akershus didn't look all that to me.

Good luck deciding. I am sure you will have a great time at either!!!!

Oh ish! I don't know how you could possibly decide between the two!!!!

How old is your niece? Are the princesses important to her at all and, if so, are you eating at CRT? If the princesses are at all important to her and you're NOT eating at CRT, then I'd do Akershus.

If you're just thinking about the FOOD and that's all, then my preference is Biergarten. I was really surprised at how good it is.

If your niece is a young teenager (13/14ish) and she SAYS she has no interest in the princesses and you DON'T have a meal at CRT, then I'd go ahead and do Akershus anyway. I was SHOCKED that my then 13 y/o dd regressed about 5 years when we got to Disney and was all about the princesses once we got there!

We have done both, with a little girl if you want princesses choose Norway. I prefer Biergarten myself love the prezel bread and a better selection of what to eat.

Biergarten! We did both last trip (Akershus breakfast and Biergarten lunch) and we really did not like Akershus. It was alright but it wasn't anything special (we pretty much just went for the princesses). But Biergarten was great and so much fun!

If your niece wants princesses, you can usually find most of them around World Showcase. DD6 actually had a blast tracking down all the, down in their counties.

like the PP we do Askerhaus for breakfast & Bierngarten for dinner. Bierngarten is a must for us every year. It doesn't have characters, but it does have a fun show. My DDs love going up and dancing to the band.

I've never eaten at Biergarten (I'm german, but not a fan of german food, go figure!). However, if you like salmon, the salmon dinner at Askerhaus is one of my favorites in all of Disney. I'm sitting here thinking of how I can get my now teen dd to go there next trip (whenever that may be).
