Just had our weekly delivery - 1/2 hour late :sad2:

And to top that there is no frozen stuff at all - apparently no one tonight got any!
There also seems to be a shortage of Heinz beans at Asda - got Branston ones as a substitute item :confused3

I had a lot of trouble with the asda home delivery service, i swopped to tesco after i vowed never to use asda again ! One order i made never actually got delivered...still when i eventually got them to refund me they messed that up and gave me twice the amount :rotfl:

What a pain Tim. Strange that they ran out of Heinz Beans, you'd of thought they'd give you Asda ones rather than Branston :confused3 (never heard of Branston Beans :rotfl: )

Thats a shame Tim,i used an online shopping place once and never again,it put me off all of them  .x.

(never heard of Branston Beans :rotfl: )

We love Branston Beans-we always used to get Asda's own beans,but swapped to them.Our 99p shop does them-4 for 99p :thumbsup2 .x.

I've never used Asda but regularly use Tesco's and they are really good. :thumbsup2

I odered asda home delivery for the 1st time lasy week, it was okay but some of the subs were odd :confused3 trying it again today. I have used tesco's many times.

I did once have a whole carrier bag full of grapes which came to about £8.00:scared1: . I can't work out how 1 bag of grapes could transpire into a whole carrier bag :rotfl: :rotfl: they did refund.

I tried Asda online just before Christmas last year - absolute disaster! They were horribly late, a packet of salt broke so everything was covered in the stuff and their substitutions were a joke - I ordered maple syrup and got golden, that kinda thing... So went back to Waitrose/Ocado to save my sanity... :lmao:

Although I've never had a problem with their service, I absolutely cannot stand the ordering system. It seems to take forever to create a shopping list and I was always losing items. Salisbury's are more expensive, but sooo much easier to use.

Used ASDA delivery a few times now no problems, until last week. No chilled products arrived, I rang and told them and are supposed to be crediting £53. After I got off phone I totalled it up to about £30:confused3
Will use again as it was 1st problem but I know a few people that have problems with them.

I agree Karen, we don't live near and Asda, but when I was still buying nappies for Poppy I did an Asda home delivery as they were so well priced. What a disaster! I got a huge 2kg packet of smart price oats instead of Ready Brek etc. Ocado have my business again especially as they now price match Tesco for branded products, and I often don't pay for delivery if there is already a van in our area:thumbsup2 it's probably been or on it's way to you, Karen!
I also use Sainsburys every now and then and haven't had a problem with them either.
We always do a delivery for the day after we get back from holiday - I can't stand that first supermarket shop after being away. It's the fastest way to bring me straight back to reality:laughing:

I've been using Tesco for years. Asda have just started deliverying to the village but after reading this I might stick to tesco.

For about 4 weeks running I got all my loose weight fruit and veg for 15p
e.g. 6 bananas - 15p
5 pears - 15p
large bag of grapes - 15p

Obviously some kind of glitch but I was most put out last week when it was put right and I had to pay full price! :rotfl:

:lmao: i would be as well !

We have decided to have a go with Tesco this week.

I used Tesco last year to get some special offer frozen tuna steaks (10p for 2!), but they didn't delivery. I checked on-line and it reported that they had been delivered but when I phoned Tesco they said the order was coming up as cancelled. They were really good and re-arranged delivery and gave me a £10 voucher.
So worth trying them again I think.
