We were just there, staying offsite from 1/11 - 1/19. We went to EP on the 12th/13th when it was still legacy. We arrived both days between 11am and noon and were able to get FP- for Soarin' on the 12th with a return time around 5, and on the 13th, FP- for TT around 5 or 6, can't quite remember.
We were there on Day 1 of FP+ only for MK on the 14th, and back again on the 15th, and Friday the 17th. All three days we arrived between 11 and 12. The first two days were very low crowd days; Tues we got ETWB, Pooh ride, PP the first day... all return times were late afternoon/early evening. On the second day we got BTMRR, PP, and Ariel's Grotto. Only my son wanted to ride BTMRR, so after we rode it we switched the other tickets from our group to the under the sea ride. It was right after our Ariel time so it worked perfect. On Friday we got PP, Buzz, and Jungle Cruise for late afternoon evening. Friday was definitely more crowded going into MLK weekend.
I liked FP+ because we are not RD people and I've never ridden PP before. I was able to experience it two of our days and we all loved it. I am sure people's experiences will change as more people learn how to use it and on more crowded days.
One nice thing about offsite instead of magic bands is that they did not check park ticket names .... we were a party of 8 total; so on that day, DS9 and I rode BTMRR two times in a row using 4 of the tickets. Then when I switched the other 4, my mom and I rode Under the sea with my two DD while my Dad, DH and the sons were in Tomorrowland. I don't think you can do that kind of thing with magic band.
