As we get ready for the Spring/Summer concert season...

Who do you want/are you going to see???

I just saw Barenaked Ladies at the Fleet Center, and will be seeing them next month at the Tsongas Arena for a Massachusetts 9/11 Fund Benefit they are doing.

I will also be seeing Jimmy Buffett at the end of the summer (hopefully 2x, if they get all the permissions for him to play Fenway like Springsteen did last summer).

I have peruse the shows that are coming this summer and see who else.

I am going to see Josh Groban on April 13th and then on April 17th the Black Eyed Peas are coming to my campus for a show

In June, we'll be seeing the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performing music from Lord of the Rings with Howard Shore as the guest conductor.

I actually have a string of concerts I am going to this spring... well I already went to one and I'll call it late winter I had Enrique Iglesias on 2/18, Clay Aiken & Kelly Clarkson this weds, Weird Al Yankovic on 3/31, and Josh Groban on 4/12. It's an interesting group but I love them all If any of the concerts are as good as Enrique's was, I will be thrilled to death!!!

Olena, I wanted to go to the LOTR symphony as well, but by the time that one came out, I was spent on concerts... although I am still considering it

I can't get ANYONE to go to ANY concerts with me!!! Guess I'll just have to plop a blanket down in my backyard and blare a great CD!!! (lighter optional!)

joshsmom, I'll have to admit this, all but the Weird Al concert, I am going to (or went to) alone. No one wanted to go with me on any of hte others (but they wanted to see Weird Al... go figure ) so be brave and go alone... I know I wasn't the only one who went alone to Enrique's!

The LOTR should be a great show. My husband is more into it than I am. When he suddenly offers to take me to the Symphony, I asked what the 'catch' was. I soon found out! LOL!

I'll be volunteer ushering some rock cncerts this summer. I don't know which bands though. I hope to find out soon.

I'm performing in a concert this summer with my choir, so there's that, too.... It should be a nice summer for music.....

Lainey m'dear--I think the word we are looking for here is eclectic Quite the mix there.

I forgot, I will probably catch the Irish Tenors as well. Ronan Tynan's voice can just bring me to tears.

Hopefully seeing Buffet during the summer at Jones Beach. Crossing my fingers that U2 would tour, but haven't heard anything. Anything after that, I'm usually a tagalong. DH LOVES going to concerts. He's really more up to date than I am about who's coming around and who we'll probably go see.

Just saw Clay and Kelly Thursday nite, will DEFINTELY be seeing Aerosmith this June (haven't missed a NY show yet ). Don't know the Jones Beach line up yet, so hard to tell.
