Hello to my RCer fam jam it's a Us holiday this weekend, isnt it?

Hoping you all have a wonderful weekend!

Sheila, sending hugs as I know it's a hard time for you! Holidays can be some of the worst times, know your RCer family is here for you and we surround you with love and friendship!

Congrats Jenny on being PIF thats a wonderful feeling! Even though my balance is not due until Aug 14, I am thinking of sending off my money order soon too instead of having it sit in the bank it's so nice to be able to say I'm PIF! Unfortunately, I still have $1500 to save for spending money, but our dollar isn't doing so well right now! Dropped from 102 to 97 in about the last month.... Thankfully I had the bulk bought (resort/package) but now it's sliding down....I hope it starts to turn around instead of heading lower... Don't want to pay too much exchange rate!

I have my Costco shop to do tomorrow, and my WW weigh in.....other than that, it'll be a quiet weekend for me! I am going to try beer can chicken on the BBQ tomorrow night// or aka Beer Butt Chicken hope I don't singe his pants off, lol!

Yes we too have to save more spending $$$! I don't officially count that though, it makes me feel better that way!! I am so excited though, this trip has so much fun in it! BBB, CRT, MNSSHP....yay!!

Pricing, pricing, pricing...looking for my best deal for me and the girls in October!!! DH gave a budget of $1500...with a LM room, airfare and MNSSHP tickets, we are at $1454 for 4 nights...we don't need to eat while we are down there right???

I told you it's hard to stay away when you have Ap's and its hard when you don't. I cancelled disneyland due to lack of interest on dh and kids part. I just booked a week at BC starting Oct 25th. The trip is kind of iffy and may get pushed back to 2013, but hopefully not. My kids, Dh and mom want to sail on the Fantasy next year so I am trying to squeeze in one more trip. Of course the Fantasy is in Orlando so.........Have you considered the Tables in wonderland. It worked out much better for us than the dining plan. You might be pleasantly surprised especially staying Club level.

I think we are definitely considering using Tables in Wonderland for our April trip. DFIL isn't one to be tied down to a whole bunch of ADRs so I think TIW will work better for that trip, especially if we end up at AKL CL for that trip. . Our WL experience will give us a better idea on what to do I think!

Hi everyone! Happy Memorial day weekend! After I post here I am going to check the weight loss thread. I really want to lose 20 lbs before heading to the beach at the end of the summer!

On other note, DH and I were actually enjoying a few adult beverages this evening, which is pretty rare. And we were reminded of why it's rare...my kiddos rarely get sick...but of course, about 2 beers in...DD5 comes down crying that her belly hurt...10 minutes later she proceeded to empty the contents of her belly into her bed...we just spent the last 1/2 hour cleaning up puke.

I feel so bad for her! The last time this happened was after her birthday party in November. The good news is that she felt much better afterwards.

AWW so sorry, we just went through this last week. The poor things, and it is true, just when you let your guard down and relax, boom! Back to reality. Hope she feels better soon, here it was just a 24 hr bug, with no fever. Good luck...

I just changed my ticker for the 10th time in the last week, but now I officially have a trip booked. I dont know when we're sailing on the Fantasy next year but I'm looking at Oct 19 or Nov 3. I won't be able to book anything until Dh bids vaction in October. I hope you all have a great weekend. I'll be working. I have to pay for my next trip. If it wasn't for Disney I think I would be looking for a less stressful career. I know Paswould understand. I hope she is having a great vacation. She deserves it.

Yuck. This happened to my son at Yc 2 weeks ago. I bagged up all the sheets and towels and put them outside the door. It was kind of embarrassing, but I'm sure the housekeepers have seen it all. Hope she feels better.

No. I would rather just buy new ones in October if we decide to go that route. That would move the expiration date back to Oct 2014. I'll decide in October when my dh bids his vacation. If we can make it back early October 2013 then maybe. Ap's are a big expense as you know so I would really have to be sure we can afford, and want to go back before they expire.

I think your plan sounds great! If we don't get down for October, we've still got April, which will be another 10-nighter, and then I'll try to squeeze one in in June or July before it expires.

We are planning on an Outer Banks trip next summer, so we won't get back to Disney until Feb 2014.

We're doing a couple of side trips this summer too, sometimes i wonder how the heck we've managed to save for everything! But never underestimate the power of the "family vacation"! Whether it is Disney, or anywhere else, nothing can compare to getting away with your kiddos. We never did it for too long and now I can't get enough!

It's in North Carolina. It's pretty much a beach vacation, but a friend of ours has a brother who has a timeshare down there...this house is incredible...8 bedrooms, 5 baths, movie theater....we are going to take it for a week with these friends and split the $2500 price tag we are being charged. Pretty good deal!!!

I know what you mean about the power of family vacation....we waited until the girls were "old enough" (in our minds that was 3 and 5)... And we haven't stopped traveling since!!! We love showing our girls the world (even if it isn't the Mickey one )

Planning is half the fun. Even when life gets in the way of your plans you can't get upset because you just get to replan everything. We went last October for 5 nights and we took my mom. We didn't get to experience the food and wine festival as much as I wanted to or do mnsshp. We visited all the parks and resorts for her which was fine.... no regrets. I am hoping this year I can eat, drink wine, and relax a little more.... and of course get to the mnsshp. Your plans sound great. Have you been on a Disney cruise? It's the best vacation ever. Just so darn expensive.

That house sounds amazing! On a side note, Dh and I were looking over the ABD website, wow do those trips look amazing! We were looking at the England / France one, as I went to Europe in 2000 by myself. I have always talked about it and DH really wants to take the kids over there! However.... the price of that trip would make a fantasy cruise look like nothing! It would be about $25,000 for the five of us before airfare!

I think we could do that a little cheaper... when the DD's are older. But yes there are sooo many places we want to go now... it is an addiction for sure! But a good one!
