My vote is for #4...Am I too late...:lmao: what am I saying, never too late :)

The combo of the Silver moon, Cinco del Mayo and Prom night..have I mentioned, NONE of my kids will be allowed to go to prom :faint: In 15 days I will be on my way...so It's all good...just keep swimming ::yes::
OK, Dory:fish:, I love the line that it's never too late:thumbsup2. To this day, DH still assures me that if I'm unhappy with my choice, we can even change after check-in...

I just got off the phone (again) with the WDTC. I told them (again) that I was calling back to check on BLT availability. The nice CM said she'd be happy to check, but informed me that the military discounted rooms will never revert back into inventory, even if canceled, they will only revert back to rack rate. Now, I had heard this years ago, but then I thought I had read that rather than having an unfilled room, some rooms will convert to discounted room inventory such as AP and military. Obviously this is an old DIS wive's tale. The CM said they were explicitly told that no previously discounted rooms ever revert back into the discounted pool when canceled or unfilled. I also confirmed with her that suites are never discounted.

Given what I was told, I can stop calling. So, BLT one bedroom isn't available and neither is the Deluxe Garden Wing room or the Deluxe WL room, which we also wanted. I accept that and I'm moving on. The VWL one bedroom is still available.

At this point, given our narrowed-down resort preferences, my only choice is to:

1. Keep CR/BLV

2. Switch back to VWL pre WL/CL

or

3. Switch back to all WL/CL

Hi Rcers. Back from Chicago. I had so much fun with family. Good stuff. :goodvibes
So while in Chicago DN & I had a wild frenzied Saturday night of Mojitos & RCing :lmao: and we ended with... POLY POLY POLY!!!
And DH & I also added a night, too. DN & her DH already are staying 11 nights. I bought a fun tropical purse Saturday to kick off the festivities.
Now I am off to see if a cabana is available... :hyper: ...since today is my DOUBLE DIGIT DANCE DAY!!!

.
.

WDWKOOK:
Weighing in on your poll: Number 3, please! :thumbsup2
Yet another RC headed for Lapu Lapu Land:scratchin. This makes it easier for me to visit both you and Dani at the same resort:thumbsup2

I had to look-up my NUMBER 3:rotfl: No changes with that choice - not very sporting of you:snooty:

DH is gonna kill me!!!

But, if you had to choose, which one would you choose? Cast your vote!!!

Wilderness Lodge Club Level

or

POLY GV

I think we all know the plusses and minuses of both - GO!
OLD FAITHFUL CLUB!!

If you want me to compare and contrast the two - let me know!

MAGIC Linda:welcome: home. Good luck booking the cabana

KOOK I vote WL CL for all 13 nights

MMI would go with WL CL But even though I had wanted to do that at one point for our March trip DH convinced me to stick with BWI and WL use to be his favorite. I think you should stick with the Poly that is where your heart is.

I never really wanted to stay CL but Poly is the one resort I have said if I ever can drag DH to stay there I will stay CL so I know what longhouse my room will be in.

Just plain ol' GV
~I don't have to mention all the great club level amenities, do I?

~Only Tahiti, Tokelau and Rapa Nui have 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. The original buildings only have 3rd floor balconies.

~If you get a North Wing CL room at WL, it will be brand new

~I believe WL/CL costs less than Poly GV

~At WL/CL no one will be above you - so no moving furniture noises and stampedes at 2 AM!

~No DVC construction view from the beach at WL

~You're right next door to FW at WL - you can even walk there

~No monorail shut-down worries. You have a direct boat and a non-stop bus to the MK from WL

~I like that Poly is right next door to the TTC to go to Epcot, but the Epcot bus from WL is pretty fast and reliable and WL is the first picked-up and dropped off

~Some GV rooms at the Poly have a partial parking lot view. Your WL CL room would not and you could have a courtyard view with the EWP at 9:05 or you could have a partial Wishes view. There are also some VWL courtyard view rooms

~No leis or Cart People beeping at you at WL, but there's cobbler!

~WL has two hot tubs and VWL has one - Poly has none

~You can rent bikes at WL and go over to FW

~Poly does have a character breakfast, but WCC has lots of CATSUP!

KOOK I vote WL CL for all 13 nights
Thank you, Sheila. Here's a sticker for everyone who has (or will popcorn::) vote:

Wilderness Lodge Club Level for sure! But I prefer WL to Poly anyway.

We are all Daisies here :grouphug:

Pas ... I know you were so busy this weekend ... hope you have been able to catch up on some sleep ... love ya ....

Happy weekend everyone! :goodvibes Had a garage sale this morning to raise funds for Disney trip someday;)...DD's don't know we are going! (yes I may have mentioned that already!) BUT because it was so nice here, we raced to garden centre and bought plants for our newly created garden. I love it...it's amazing what a little greenery can do! :thumbsup2

Great Jenny!! A terrifc way to help fund a Disney trip. :thumbsup2 I can never get myself organized to have one ... it's been years since our last.

Just checking in! Having breakfast while DH sleeps. Everything is wonderful and Poly CL is pretty amazing--they've been great to us! We were up late last night so we're getting a late start today. Hope all is well! DH begged for WL in Sept???? Oh boy, its starting already lol.

Awesome Deena!! You must be at the YC now!

Mousemommy1: CONGRATS on RC'ing BACK to the POLY !!:banana: You are definitely in line for a RC crown!! Forget the negative reviews .... you stay will be amazing.... so glad you ahd DH worked everything out. :)

OH ... and just saw your post ... you do love to torture yourself!!

Magic: Congrats on your RCing over to the POLY too!! Knew you would have something to tell us about on your return. :goodvibes

Kook: : I vote for number 1 (on your newly revised list :)) I loved my stay at VWL but like that you would have a different resort first, then come home to your favorite WL.

GG:  What travels are next on your list? :goodvibes

Dani: Did you find that spreadsheet??

Padawans: Hope you are having a great time!!

Hi to pixarmom, chimo2u, I heart the mouse, gwynne, & anyone else I've missed. :)

KOOKLove the I voted pic but then I am partial, I own a Golden :)

Just plain ol' GV

I have never stayed at either; can I still vote? :rotfl2:

POLY!

Side note: I must have missed several pages along the way because I could have sworn you were doing a Poly BC split stay! In fact it was one of your posts that tempted me to check into BC.

Jungle Cruiser - good luck and prayers sent your way!

~I don't have to mention all the great club level amenities, do I?

~Only Tahiti, Tokelau and Rapa Nui have 2nd and 3rd floor balconies. The original buildings only have 3rd floor balconies. I did request a 3rd floor at Poly, but the balcony is not a big deal to us. It will likely be too hot to use it!

~If you get a North Wing CL room at WL, it will be brand new Cannot argue with this

~I believe WL/CL costs less than Poly GV Nope, about $230 more

~At WL/CL no one will be above you - so no moving furniture noises and stampedes at 2 AM! Requested 3rd floor at Poly, so hoping this is not an issue.

~No DVC construction view from the beach at WL good point

~You're right next door to FW at WL - you can even walk there not very interested in FW at all. :duck:

~No monorail shut-down worries. You have a direct boat and a non-stop bus to the MK from WL agreed, but as long as the boats/ferries are working at the Poly IF there is a monorail shutdown, I'll be fine. Again, I think the WDW busses are great! :thumbsup2

There are also some VWL courtyard view rooms Hopefully, if I get my wish of Tokelau, no parking lot

~No leis or Cart People beeping at you at WL, but there's cobbler! not a fan of desserts , unless they are cupcakes or cinnamon rolls from Main St. Bakery!

~WL has two hot tubs and VWL has one - Poly has none I refuse to go NEAR any hot tub - I believe that they are germ growing cess pools ::yes::

~You can rent bikes at WL and go over to FW

~Poly does have a character breakfast, but WCC has lots of CATSUP!

Kook~ This is exactly what I needed to talk myself to the goods and bads of both. Both are clearly great resorts with lots to offer!!! I really think that DH will cancel the trip all together if I switch from Poly again, so I think its gonna have to be Poly this trip. I really want to stay at WL when we bring my FIL though. :hyper:

Oh yes, I switched from Poly/BC split to WL for the whole 10 nights, and then switched to Poly for the 10 nights - my DH and kiddos really wanted Poly...

So for now... I reserved the Cabana for full day 10-7 on Friday the 17th. The main reason for going cabana is both my skin cancer and DHs multiple skin cancers (baaaad sun :furious:) coupled with DN and her DH absolutely loving :cool2: a good “pool day”. We have a 8:45am Kona Cafe which works out well, but time constraints may necessitate switching to a 10-2 half-day cabana to realistically get to our 8pm Spirit of Aloha Show on time. Personally, I think I'd prefer half day so that I won't feel obligated to use the cabana all day if I decide I'd rather take a walk or a monorail ride, or go shopping for a while. We'll take a group vote in the next few days once our revised ADRs are made. Most ADRs still work well, but a few YC/BW centered ADRs will changed. Hmmm, it may be time for “ketchup”. ::yes::

I forgot to mention this today. I was able to get our 'Ohana breakfast moved an hour earlier and secure a cabana for that morning. This cabana will be a surprise to everyone!

I agree, MM! KEEP THE POLY this trip.... :thumbsup2 DH really wants it, and it makes him feel like he's part of the planning....your next trip is so soon....what, a mere 8 months or so after coming home from this one??? THEN you can try WL NEXT trip.....it'll still be there! :) and your discount is itching to save you money at the POLY :)

KOOK: WL CL is my vote for the whole stay :) remember, lounge is an extention of your room...I think you'll be fine :)

UGH! There you go making perfect sense again - the voices of RC reason: You and Sheila and Linda and Jeanette and Candace... Then there's those other voices... Janet, JC, Dani... semi-encouraging the CR/WL split:stir:

You know, I booked a split (Poly&WL) last summer and canceled the split a day into our vacation. That should probably tell me something, right? Stay tuned...

MM1: You should keep the Poly (or split with WL/CL?) since DH will be happier at the Poly and he's excited about it. Happier DHs mean more WDW trips:thumbsup2
