Glad I could help!

Bell services can move your bags, but you may not get them until 4pm or later. I'm a little on the anxious side and don't trust all that Maybe I'll try it this time and see how it goes, I've just always found it easier to call the cab and know all my stuff is with me and accessible to me!!

One thing to remember - you will not be able to book the Poly nights with the AP rate until those rates are released.

So, if you made that call today, and AP rates have not yet been released for your dates, the CM will get all baffled and say it cannot be done - which is true...

So...for now...you could book AOA with FD, book Poly room only with your discount...then when AP rates are released for your dates, call back and change the room only to an AP ressie and add the DP.

Hi J Just wanted to say hello and hope all is well with you and your family. I see you are at our beloved GF RPC. You go girl. Oh how I miss it there so much. I can't wait until the construction is done so we can come back home. I will be gazing at the GF from CR (surprise two night stay TPV CL for our DS16) and then off to BLT for 6 nights. I told my DH that I wasn't changing our ressie any more. So far for at least 10 days now I haven't changed it again. Don't think I will anymore.

Something is really weird with the Dis the last 2 days.....I just wrote to KOOK on her BWI trip report page, and my post isn't showing up.....second time my post has gone missing the last couple days!

Kook: I just wanted to say thank you for your unbiased and honest review of BWI CL....it still intersts me for a future visit, as I love the whole seaside carnival theme, and that kiester slide really looks like a blast! I could care less about the whole clown thing, clowns don't bother me! so I hope to try it one day perhaps on a trip with just hubby and myself.
I am very much looking forward to my stay at the POLY..... I have always wanted to try it, and I will never truly know if it could be my Disney "Home" until I try it for myself.....So far, the AKL CL holds our #1 spot, so I don't know if I'll be sharing that with the POLY upon my return in Oct. or not, but I am keeping an open mind. If not, hey, there's always AKL waiting for us again....I know I didn't feel the love at the Beach Club.....we had fun, but it just felt, I don't know.....sterile to us.....lacking in magic.....just not "home" like AKL....you know that sigh of happiness you get when you enter your resort??? that's what was missing at the Beach Club for me....but I would not have known unless I tried it..... there's something for everyone in the end, and that's what's wonderful about WDW!

Dani: I hope there are no changes to your PERFECT jealousy-inducing POLY stay!!! You are the one who told me how amazing the POLY is.....you have 12 nights (?? wasn't it 12 nights? I can't recall this exact moment...) you have an amazing stay planned and I would hope you can keep your beloved POLY Glad to hear Danimal is back home where he belongs and he's on the mend!!

I"M HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the PM Pas!!! This is truly my happy place. Of course it was back to school this week so I've been a little "busy".
If you are a teacher, then you know what the last marking period is like. The students sort of......ummm....check out...and we have to try to wake them back up to get them ready for the end-of-the-year testing..... Glad to see everyone on board.....WHERE is Queen Karen???? I miss her.

Ok...this is just a scenario...but if I were to say, change my whole entire trip to The Wilderness Lodge and have them take the money from the Poly ressie and apply it to the WL ressie so that it's paid off, and there would be an overpayment...would they refund that to me, or hold it as a credit??? A credit would be kind of cool, because its like $$ in the "bank" for when we get there...

Last December I had CRO credit a Mod night $$ to my account and when I arrived I had $125.00 “on account” to use for dining and Chrsitmas gifts. So then I just charged to my room key. We actually ended up owing then less than $1.00 at check out. It really worked out great, and they will do it if you ask. ... Oh, and did you see my reply to your AP question on the old thread. It was right at the end in a big multi-quote.

I'm late to the party, as usual lol. I'm just waiting for my dad to get home so he can stay with Lily while I sign Danimal out. He's been discharged but he's napping now anyway so I'm glad he's getting rest. ...I think I should make a change. What say you?

Jenny You must add dining at leat 3 days prior. You cannot add dining to a r/o reservation. You must book a package ahead of time. I have never had a cm ask me to show my Ap or my dh's Airline ID. If they do just bring it back the next day.

MM- They will leave a credit on a room only res. On a package they will refund you the money. If you get a competant cm what you want to do should be simple. Unfortunately getting "that" cm is not. I wish there was a direct line to guest services because they are the only one's that seem to be able to anything correctly anymore. Good luck.

No worries. It just isn't "worth it" to switch to WL. Over the 10 nights it's less than a $275 savings. I'd be kicking myself for not just spending the $275 to try my dream resorts...especially if I had to stare at more framed autographs on our office wall...

Thanks...no need...I'm not gonna change. I'm telling you, when I did my last change on 2/24 it was 2 hours long and I really was left with no desire to change again!

I'll just continue with my trip planning/changing for April 2013.

Pas Its nice of you to work OT for your Dh. I don't know how you do it. One of the docs asked me why I wasn't my normal smiling, loud,(loud who knew?), and talkative self.....uh that was me when I was working part-time. My full- time self is quiet, tired, and grumpy.

I feel spoiled. I'm trying to get excited about this trip. Gosh I fell like I was just there. If I could push it back to October I would. Then I could have my wdw/cruise/Food and wine Dream trip. The Fall is just too uncertain for us. Lots of stuff going on with Dh's job.

I'm sure when I feel that tropical air and have my first Mai tai I'll be in full vacation mode. It's all good.

My dh got the 2 additional days off I wanted. I booked.....well I have booked several resorts. Ok only 5 changes in the last 3 days. Currently at Csr. I think it went something like BW/BC/WL/AKL/CSR in that order. I think I'm done......or maybe not....I would put my money on not.

Ok....I need help!!!

We are going to Disney Aug. 9-15. It will be me, my DH, my 6 year old DD, and our almost 3 year old DS.

We have been to Disney many times.....but have only stayed at value or CSR. Last June my DD and I went to CSR and LOVED it!!! We loved the room...the beds were so comfy, the wooden sliding doors were AWESOME, we had good location to the great pool, and the bus stop.....we had a very nice time!

This time...I first booked CSR, but then saw with the discount we could stay at AKL for $500 more so decided to stay there. But now I'm having second thoughts.

I think I'm really going to miss the sliding door from the vanity/bedroom area. That was so great....I could get ready while DD slept...and now with my 2 year old who will nap everyday....it would be nice to be able to get ready while he naps. I've also heard AKL rooms are quite crowded and not a lot of storage. I though CSR rooms were pretty spacey. And I haven't heard the best about AKL's bus stop....we had good luck at CSR except a few times which I know can happen anywhere.

I'm just really confused. Are we really going to like AKL that much better...or should we just go back to CSR?!?!?!

Now I'm committed or I lose 200.00 dollars. I think I'll stick with the economical thing and keep CSR. On the other hand I feel like I should give Wl a second chance. I really like Akl, but no running trail. I'm like a crack addict without their crack if I can't run.

To make matters worse my dh keeps talking about wanting to get Ap's again. Cruise in Oct if his jobs not too crazy. I already blew my 2012 vacation fund on this trip. I keep telling him to play the lottery. Looks like I'll be buying Ap's again in April 2013. I've already got all my 2013 trips planned out in my mind, and I won't change a thing.

I need a breakdown too, I'm feeling a bit lost! you are still doing hard rock club level, right? you have so many resorts lined up! That's a lot of packing up and moving, but maybe it'll be not too bad because, lucky you, you have two weeks!

Your full-time comment made me it was spot on.....I like my part time me much better!

I am excited for the POLY....I have a good feeling about it ....that warm, fuzzy, dreamy feeling when I think of being there!

MM: so happy you are sticking with the plan! I remember your pain of changing and how you said never again! definitely a good motivator to stay put plus.....who needs more dust collectors on their wall or in their home!??

I haven't stayed at either, but between the two, I'd chose AKL any day over CSR. You've stayed at CSR before and you love it, so that will play into it for you but personally CSR holds no appeal for me whatsoever. It's actually the only resort that I don't really want to stay at...but probably will at some point just because I'm on a quest to stay at them all. For $500 more, stick with AKL.

I have stayed at both I can give you my thoughts.

The rooms- Same size and same quality. Your right about the slider.

Pool- CSR is better by a mile.

Restaraunts- Akl. I love Jiko and Boma

Atmosphere- I prefer CSR. I have spent a lot of time in Mexico, and I like that theme.

Of course Akl has the interior hallways and the animals, and its a nicer resort. My kids prefer CSR mainly because of the pool.

I like CSR better, but Akl is the better resort if that makes sense. I am sure that did not help at all.
