Thanks to all my RC family for their support today. As a follow up I'm okay and I think that my relationship with at least some of my grandkids will work out so that is good news. Just wanted you all to know how much I appreciate all of you.

Okay so 2 things. First HOLY CRAP my smileys are back to normal! I was so confused with them all out of wack after the server transfer.

Second, I have found the perfect time for my trip. If we go November 9-15 we can catch the end of F&W and all the Christmas decorations. I have never seen WDW all done up for Christmas. I hope I can make it all work!

We were there over Thanksgiving week in 2009 and all of the decorations were up....I seem to remember developing a cramp in my jaw with the amount of times it hit the floor!!

It is pretty amazing to walk down Main Street! One year we were there and on one day all the fall decorations were up and then the next morning is was Christmas .... well it probably didn't happen quite that fast.

I know I haven't been on here since my disasterous new years eve trip.

I just wanted to stop in here and say "hi"

I do miss all you guys!

I'm planning a trip for august so yea!

Now I have to go back and try to catch up with everybody.

I've missed you. I will be there in August too! I know that my ticker says Poly but......I switched today....tooo (drum roll)....

BUT....

I'm trying to get a room at CR. There must be some sort of convention because the only rooms are Atrium club level rooms and WHEW....they are SO not in our budget right now. I'm not even going to change my ticker.....(As the Ticker Turns again, and again, and again) until I am sure where I am staying. My DSIL called today and is booked in a 1br at AKL Jambo and I got a little jealous. I LOVE AKL and Kidani and I miss staying there..... hmmmmmmmmm what's an RCer to do?

Miss you all. School is almost out....but time for the end-of-the-year testing and things are crazy. Just wait, in a few short weeks I'll be the first one on the page and the last one to leave. Until then.... stay tuned to...

Hi Dani! MK will be decorated as Linda said. Also, just checked for you, Osbourne lights started 11/10 last year so good chance you will be able to see this too!

Dani. I think your November dates sound Great! I was torn between going in early November to be able to take in F&W and some of Christmas too or December. With me the deal I got on my JB flights decided for me.

The first MVMCP is 12/9 and I think I read the first Osborne Lights is 12/10. It looks like DHS is closing early on 11/13 at 6pm for a private party.

All the parks will be decorated from what I understand although the big tree on Main St in MK does not go up until after the parade tapping, the first weekend in Dec.

As far as the resorts they are last to be decorated so that can be iffy before Thanksgiving.

Can not wait to see what you decide for sure.

Today, not only did I consider changing resorts, I also considered changing parks! I have never been to DL and thought this might be a good year to go. So far no changes though. I am not feeling very excited and I am not sure why. I don't know if it's the money (7 nights at BC), or the fact that airfare is ridiculous right now, or if I am worried about the heat ( we usually go in early Nov instead of late sept early oct). Maybe I just need to update my ticker!

I think I did the same thing...my DL booking was short ived though...only since airfare was INSANE from NJ....maybe you can change ADRs, might make you more excited...I LOVED early November too..I sense a change in the wind for you

Hi Dani. I will be there Wed. Aug 15--Sun. Aug 19. No CL for me this trip, but maybe I will see you there. We are staying very Poly centered this trip. So Kona and 'Ohana ADRs there along with Spirit of Aloha and a cabana day. This is going to be one laaaazy Poly trip.

I LOVE game shows

OK so I think ANY of the 3 onsite resorts are great. The cheapest is Royal Pacific, with the AP discount it is cheaper than a Royal Room . It has tropical theming, I can report back when I get home. Portofino (the most expensive, but still not bad is BEAUTIFUL & QUIET. Then there's Hard Rock which I am indifferent about (IDK why), but there's rock&roll stuff there, and it looks very upscale. You can pool hop to any pool! There's shuttles and water taxis to the park...I never used the shuttle...loved the boat!!

Let me mention US hotels are easy to change too, just sayin but if you change resorts you need to put a new deposit..date changes etc. no penalty up to 5 days prior. Just got my refund from Hard Rock back

This sounds like a perfect trip. I just love to spend time just relaxing at the resort.
