Except for the fact that it now seems like it got here soooooo quick, and now I have some EPIC packing to do in the next couple of days...and instead of starting it when I got home this afternoon, I fell asleep on the couch for 3 hours....

The only saving grace I may have is that we got a new king sized bed today and I may not roll out of that puppy until lunchtime. Fend for yourselves kids! Mama's sleepin' in!

While I was at work today my dh was out buying me a new fridge. It was suppossed to be a surprise to be delivered on Wednesday while I was working, but the little blond guy blurted it out the minute I walked in the door. I was still surprised. We looked at them on the 4th but I wasn't expecting him to buy one. It's one of those nice big expensive ones with the double doors on top and the double freezer on the bottom. One more thing I can check off my home improvement list. I replaced my stove, washer and dryer last year. I still need a new dishwasher and bed probably next year. The home improvement would go much faster if I stopped taking all these trips to Disney.

LOL! Do the home improvements get in the way of Disney or vice versa??? Remember the $2100 I had to drop on the stove and dishwasher a few months ago... all I could think of is what $2100 could do in Disney!!!

I thought about what I could get for the house with the money this trip is costing us...we could tile the kitchen, downstairs bathroom and foyer....and then tear down the deck and do the patio I want....but, alas, Disney calls....I can deal with the linoleum and existing deck for awhile longer.

Good morning RCers! We are enjoying our time away. Last night we went to the Wildwood boardwalk and had a blast. We ate yummy boardwalk food (read: grossly unhealthy) and played skeeball for hours. I'm definitely going to try and bring the kids back before the end of the summer.

I can't believe 4 weeks from today at this very time I will be landing at MCO! I can hardly wait!

Candace your girls are just gorgeous. What a beautiful family you have.

Oh, that's a bit unusual? Another fall offer? Thanks for posting this, Kook. Hmmm. Going to have to keep my eye on that. Our current trip is potentially in limbo. We might have to cancel due to silly immigration interview appointments... all a bit "up in the air" at the moment.

I've been very quiet since my trip last year but behind the scenes I've been tweaking away, in fact I've done so many I've way surpassed my changes last year

So, this year my changes took the following route:

Poly garden view
Beach Club club level standard view
Beach Club standard view
Beach Club garden view
Beach Club club level garden view
Yacht Club garden view
Yacht Club club level standard view
Yacht Club garden view
Wilderness Lodge woods view
Wilderness Lodge club level
Animal Kingdom Lodge club level

Now, these are without any form of discount so all I'm saying is if a discount for December (doubtful as it's pop warner week) comes out .............

Since my dh and I have our own savings account for our "splurge stuff" these are seperate from our retirement savings. It doesn't affect my Disney vacations. I am the saver for Disney and all vacations. If my dh paid for Disney we would be at Pop not Cl, but when it comes to anything that plugs into a wall and lights up he doesn't seem to mind spending the cash. His favorite way to spend a afternoon is walking around Best Buy.

I'm always impressed when someone can remember all their changes. There has always been discounts pop warner week. It's historically a very slow time. The pop warner crowds stays at the values so it should not effect availabilty at the deluxes... especially Club level.

Hi RCers!! Just popping in to say hi! We went and saw Brave yesterday....I LOVED IT!!! I am such a sap though, but I really got the message and yes cried a few times!!

DH's band played last night at a local bar here last night (they are a Foo Fighters Tribute band called "In Your Honor"), and our DD's slept over for the first time at DH's Aunts house. They had a wonderful time, and she just loves playing with them. It is so nice to be have someone other than my parents who enjoy having them, and who we can trust.

I am patiently waiting until Wednesday to see what the 2013 prices look like....yes excited for next year much!!! Hope everyone has had a great weekend!!
