No , I just hope you have time for tea at RPC. That is dd and my favorite Disney thing:cloud9:

Have fun too!

Well its not really a resort change, its a Disney change. Now that you can pay your resort only reservation balance online I decided to try it today.

My Disney visa statement ends 1/7 so by paying now my points will be available 1/10 for our 1/18 trip. That gives us $10 more for food :thumbsup2

I am paying dd college tuition that way too. I should now have enough to cover lunches. (We are staying CL so don't need breakfast or dinner.)

SO now I am officially paid in full before the trip, MY first ever:banana:

:banana::banana: have a great vacay! Say hi to RPC for me :goodvibes. Def go check out the afternoon offerings. They had trifle out for tea time when we were there.
Scope out Poly, anything you hear about August!!

This is our first time staying on site and I booked POR for our trip in Feb 2015 a few days ago but now im 2nd guessing myself. This is our first time staying on site but idk if i made the right choice since we aren't really going to be in the room other than to sleep and POR is more money plus its not really themey for the kids. If i change to a value resort which is the best POP, All stars or AoA? i have a 4 and 7 year old. Its only a 3 night stay and i get the FL resident special.

Although at the moment I'm still happy with my hotel/resort choices, past week or so I've been changing my dining reservations a lot. Got a dinner reservation for Be Our Guest the other day (with less than 6 months to go). Changed around about 5 other times for various reasons including getting a seating for breakfast with Darth Vader so had to change things around for that. One I am questioning now is my lunch at Coral Reef, do I keep it or try something else. I originally booked that reservation for someone who won't be on the trip. I'm ok with going there cause I've never eaten there before, but not sure I'd get the full joy out of eating there if I don't get a good view of the tank. Do I keep it or try something else? I haven't been to San Angel Inn for about 15 years or so. (I have an annual pass, and the deluxe dining plan so I'm not bothered about having to park hop to get there) Decisions decisions.

When our kids were that age they LOVED value resorts. I don't really think it matters which one.

I prefer POP and ASMovies. AOA single rooms are only little mermaid and hard to get.

I think switch and save money and have more fun:cool1:

PoR is nice for grown ups but not as "disney" fun as the values.

I just switched our lunch res for 1/20. It is hard to choose!

:surfweb: keep checking the menu and find a meal you will enjoy. It's all about the food anyways.

we are staying at CSR 1/16 & 1/17 (room only) then moving to CR 1/18 (package w/ dp). I just want to verify if I am correct in the order / manner in which I plan to do things. On the sixteenth after checking in to CSR i can go to any of the ticket offices at any park and have the ticket portion of the package activated? Then on the 18th we will need to check in at CR to activate the DP? If I am badly mistaken in the manner to accomplish this please let me know so i can adjust accordingly. Thank you

I have heard you may be able to get tickets a day early but it is not guaranteed.

We thought about a deluxe room at WL if my FIL goes with us, but with only one bathroom...wasn't sure how that would go... :-)

️POR = 2 queen beds, and double sinks, Values = 2 double beds and single sink. You'd maybe sleep more comfortably in a Queen, and the extra sink will make getting ready easier. I think the kids will get enough Disney at the parks without having the giant statues at the resort ::yes::

Any conformation of luggage transfer fees?

We started planning this trip last February - Marchish 2014 when the 2015 itineraries released for DCL. We booked our first cruise ever on Disney's Dream and decided to add a few days before in the parks. First we were booked at POR in a Royal Room. Then we found a better deal at CSR in a standard room. After doing extensive reading on CSR, we started to get nervous about the mixed reviews and size of the resort so we booked a room at Pop instead. Whew, we leave in 26 days so hopefully no more changes!

I was totally nervous about the CSR reviews to but we bit the bullet and did it because it was such a good deal. I must say it is now my dh's favorite resort. .. granted he's only stayed there POR and POP but it's his and my dd's new fav

Hello all!
Hope everyone's planning is going well and that the ch-ch-changes are all for the better!

We are currently living the nomad lifestyle - staying at a hotel during the week and with my folks on the weekend. The move is feeling all sorts of real now... something about living out of a suitcase.

Hoping to post our TR in the next few days - will link it! Our entire group loved CSR (which is saying something since we all had different goals) and we had such a great location. DD7's only complaint is she preferred the 'hotel' layout of WL to the 'motel' style of CSR. Her words: "If we had the inside of WL with the rooms, beach, pool, food, and fun of CSR, it would be perfect."

Wishing everyone warm thoughts -- it's downright chilly out and making me miss that FL sunshine! :group hug: to all!
