Has anyone tried these? I'm looking for some easy way to dress up my hair for formal night on a Disney cruise but I didn't want to waste my money if these are terribly hard to make work.

They are the combs with the beaded elastic that are supposed to hold your hair?

I am also curious. I was looking at them for my DD's hair. Her hair is very thick! if anyone has used these and can comment, please do! :)

I have lots and lots of fine hair, and they work great for me. One of the Court reporters has hair that is less fine, and she also likes them a lot.

Both Sara and I bought our EZ-Combs at Walgreens.

A co-worker of mine bought them for her little girl who has very thick hair and they work pretty good.

I got mine at Walgreens for 9.99. They look very nice are fairly easy to use with a little practice but the bands are very tight. When I pull all the hair from the front to the back I usually end up with a headache from it pulling so hard. I have shoulder length fine hair but a lot of it.

I have found that they work quite well. The easiest way for me was to put my hair in a low ponytail with a very thin ponytail holder that matches my hair color. Then flip my hair upward and use the combs.

I use a ponytail holder if I want to pull all my hair up them. If I'm just pulling some up at the top (like in a barrette), I can use the combs by themselves.

I really like them!

Sounds great! I think I'll invest in some and play!

Thanks everyone!

After I decided to go and get these combs, I mentioned it to my husband. He left the room and came back with them! He'd already picked them up for me weeks ago and was just holding on to them for some special day.

Isn't he great?

What a nice hubby! I noticed one of my students was wearing them all week this week. They looked pretty nice (a bit dressy for school, but who cares, really?). I'll have to look into them more carefully. When I dress up my hair I just twist it up and put it in a barette. The combs looks like they might keep the loose hairs in better.

DD12 loves hers. We got them at Bed Bath & Beyond, but I've also seen them with the seen on TV stuff at WalMart.
