As Requested - Info Pack Documents

I also LOVE your tote bags!! Can you tell me where you got those? How did you get the Mickey on there with your names & Date? How much did that cost if you dont mind me asking.

Thank you!! :)

those are so great!!! wow! I love them. Was the binding machine from office depot expensive? I'm thinking of doing something similar for a welcome bag, and would rather bind them myself!! Thanks!

I think you can actually have kinkos/office depot do it for you if you don't want to buy one -- I have access to one, so it was easy for me... but yeah, I would think kinkos is the way to go! :thumbsup2 OR you could get those super thin three ring binders and not worry about it --- OR they make single binder rings (like, just one) you could punch one hole in the top and it would be like a flip book.... just giving you some options...

I also PM -ed you late! (First time I ever tried to so I hope it got there..I am not at all sure what to do on a computer. .sorry) Hope it isn't too late to get a word doc. Thanks

:thumbsup2 Nice job!!!

Thank You

Wow! those look really amazing! Looks like you put a lot of hard work into it. Really a fantastic idea! I may have to steal this idea

Thank You - Steal Away

Wow! You did an amazing job!! I'm so impressed with your work! You have really gone above and beyond for your friends and family. LOL-- maybe I need to be in attendance;) !

:yay:

mystiichell,

That information packet is absolutely amazing! You must have put soooo much time into making it! Did you make it in microsoft word? Is there anyway you could e-mail me it? The majority of my guests haven't been to Disney in years..that would be so helpful for them! Thanks! :goodvibes

Thank You

That is fantastic! We all definitely want the format! Thank you soooo much! Yeah, you pretty much rock! :cool1:

Thank You

TOTALLY AMAZING JOB!!!!!! VERY impressive!!!!

ahem....and yes please can you share the WORD doc file?

:)

Thank You

Wow! I was planning on putting in a personalized Disneyland map, but now I think I might make up a similar packet. Can't steal yours though, we're pretty settled on doing Disneyland rather than Disney World. (Although I prefer the latter, it's easier for everyone else to come to Anaheim.) *sigh*

Thank You

Wow! I just love your info pack! We have a lot of newbies coming to our wedding as well. Could you possibly send me a copy of the Word document through PM?

Thanks

Your info pack is awesome...better than the Disney welcome kit. You should start selling these!!

:rotfl2:

I agree! You did a awesome job! So much time and work!!! I would love to get a word doc if possible! I know it is alot to ask but if you can it would greatly appreciated!!! Again Great job!!:worship:

Thank you

The other way you can make this PDF available is to sign up for a free account at www.sendspace.com. Then you can upload it and post the link here for others to download it. The only thing is, it expires after a week or too, so maybe a website would be better....

Thanks - I'm still working on this.....

You did such a phenomal job with the packet!!! I would love the word doc as well if you don't mind. Fantastic job!

Thank You

I know you have been swamped but really that is amazing and SO SO creative, if you do suss out a way to share it please let me know!!

Thanks

Definitely a cool handout, and I have to agree, I'd love the format too!

Thanks

We started with LOTS of testing with iron on transfers on canvas bags - but I'm one of those people that has to have everything "just so" (I have a slight case of OCD:rotfl: )& I couldn't make the iron on thing work.

We started looking into having them done & lucked out in finding a local company www.advancedgraphix.net

We sent the the art file with our logo - they charged us a one time fee of $25 to convert the image - and then embroidered our bags & screen printed our T-Shirts.

It was WAY more reasonable than I thought:

BAGS - $10/ ea & this included the bag & the embroidered design

T-Shirts - $10.50/ea which in cluded the T-Shirt & a small version of our logo printed on the upper left hand corner & a larger version of it on the back - they even allowed us to order multiple sizes in small quantities which was great becuase we had every age & shape from 11 months to 50+

And they got this all done in less than a week :dance3:

Thanks - no the binding machine wasn't too bad (around $35ish I think) I wanted to do them myself as well & LOVE  my binding machine

I PM'ed you (late) but didn't get an email... just a heads up.

No problem - glad to help when/where I can :thumbsup2

I can remember when I first started working on this, I had seen a post by a DISbride of a really great newsletter - She even bragged that she was a professional graphics designer :worship:

I responded to her post AND sent her a PM asking for her help & she didn't even acknowledge my existence - I thought to myself "How Rude" :furious: & very UnDIS like :sad2:

I realized later that she was just one of those unhappy people if you know what I mean :rolleyes1

Wow! Your booklets are amazing. How many did you have to put together, I am totally in awe of your work :dance3:

Thank you

Your newsletters were also amazing ::yes::

We only had to do about 10 & they didn't take too long - they probably would have gone much faster if I hadn't been standing behind my DH saying things like "Can you ooch that over?" :rotfl:

We sort of have this agreement that he is in charge of all things techy & I am in charge of all aesthetic - it works out most of the time

Thanks for the GREAT ideas, I didn't even think of that! I was thinking a long the lines of, if I had to get 50 books bound, it might get costly doing it at kinkos... but the ring binders sound great!

Thanks!!

Your Info packet was awesome!! I'm sure your guests appreciated it!!

I have a question, how did you get all those brochures that you put in the back of the packet? was it something you just put in once you got to orlando?

Does anyone know how to change the colors of the mickey in the documents? My Colors are light pink and dark pink and would love to be able to use those colors in my info packet.

Please PM me if you can help.

Thanks

You'd have to open the file in Adobe Illustrator or some other program that comes with Creative Suite 3. I don't think you can actually do it in word. It might work if you try opening it in photoshop too... :confused3

I sent you a PM for a request for a copy of your newsletter. Thanks in advance, you did a wonderful job! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 All I can say is WOW great job.. Those look totally amazing if you can send me a copy I would love to make some of those.. That was a great  your guest must have been very impressed.

Amazing!! I can't even imagine the time and effort put into this. It covers everything. What an awesome job!!!!
