AS Mo-should I bother with a room request?

DH, DD1, and I are going 10/10. We will be getting a standard room. We don't smoke, and for the first time, will be lugging a stroller and other baby "stuff" to the parks. In the past, we have stayed at the Mighty Ducks & Dalmations section. I of course would love to be close to the bus stop, food court, etc, but don't mind an extra few steps to walk. I know it will be busy when we are arriving, so I'm thinking I should possibly make a request, even if just to avoid certain sections. Which sections are best for standard, and which are bad, and why? Thanks!

We stayed at the All Star Movies on our last two trips. Faxed our room requests 3 days prior to our arrival and received what we asked for both times. Recommend Toy Story or 101 Dalmations buildings as they are closer to food court, bus stop, etc... and they are really cute. We have stayed in both these sections and been very pleased with our location.

I really like the Toy Story sections at ASMo. You can actually take a shortcut to the bus stops and avoid the main building if you want. This can be handy with a stroller. I also like having a ground floor room with a stroller. It is so nice to walk out the door and be on your way.

We used to fax requests. But for several years now we just ask at check in. We have always had our requests granted and several times we did much better than if we had faxed. So don't worry you will have a very good chance of getting what you want at check in.

We chose the Dalmation section because of the big dog statues. I know that would appeal to DD1. The ressie already states that it is her first birthday. I am not expecting anything special, but maybe this will help to make the decision to grant our AS Mo building request.
