As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

That picture of you with Pluto is still cracking me up!! OMG, what a hoot! It's almost like it was staged, it's so "perfect".

:lmao::lmao::lmao: So true.

I want us all to ride a ride together! Seriously, we are a party of 3 over here so I've forgotten what it's like to ride a "big" ride with someone I actually know! DH and I always have to take turns.
that would be a blast!

my clean mind never would have thought to stage that shot!

I think I can catch up....I think I can...:surfweb:

I'll wait to post the next update untill you're all caught up!

By the time we finished eating at Kona we were all wobbling in an effort to walk to the monorail.

We manged to make it and hopped a ride to MK for emh. The plan was Bailie and I would go to see Tinkerbell while d.jay, mil,and the boys did their own thing.

Splitting up served 2 purposes...1~I wouldn't have to hear the boys complain the entire wait in line and 2~ MIL was on my last nerve and I needed a teensy weensy break before I duct taped her to a boat for an hour of fun in IASW or locked her in the stocks in liberty square.

Ethan wasn't feeling well at all, but insisted he was going to stay at the park. He could hardly walk without feeling dizzy so D.Jay grabbed him a wheel chair. He would have preferred a scooter, but not wanting to be sued my disney for property damage , he didn't get one.

Bailie and I high tailed it (ok where exactly does that saying come from anyway?) to Toon Town to meet Tink.

We were the next to last people let in the line before they closed it. We had about an hour wait. We made friends with the mother and daughter behind us. I found out it was their first time to WDW and they were there just for a sports event.

In effort to not totally embarass my daughter I tried to maintain a "normal" level of excitment about the parks. By the time we were done I had her convinced to come back with her entire family, stay onsite and get the dinning plan. I'm still waiting for Disney to send my commision check!

A few minutes before we got through the door to meet the fairies I was handed a tiny photopass card . Since we "shrunk" before going in to meet them we had to have a smaller card.
It was so dang cute! And I felt a little special because only me and the other 1,000 people who met tink that day had one.

Bailie was so excited to meet the fairies....I swear she was about to cry from excitment. She denies this but when I watched her with them she acted like a 5 year old who believes it's real.:wizard:

This is one of the few times I refuse to post a picture of me.....me next to those petite little fairies.....well, let's just say I look like the stay puff marshmallow woman. After seeing those pictures I swore I was going to become annorexic.....that lasted untill I got within 10 yards of a dolewhip float.

I called D.Jay and headed for autopia to meet up with them. D.jay was looking a little annoyed. When I had a chance to ask what was wrong, he mentioned that mil insisted she needed to push the wheelchair.

Evan and Hunter wanted to take turns but she wouldn't let go, because she knows how to push it best.

ok, 1st~it's a wheelchair!!! 2nd~ your a member of AARP, you can relinquish control of the chair to your grandkids.
3rd~she is notorius for not paying attention and running into people.

Our little group headed for BTMR and along the way guess what happened? MIL ran right into bailie scraping up her heel.:headache:
Then she tried to blame it on Bailie, who had been walking beside the wheelchair.:confused3 She also managed to get my heel along the way too.

After 2 rides on BTMR we headed for the magic carpets. Then I went to mainstreet to find a purse I had seen earlier while everyone else road HM....for some reason that ride just gives me the willies. It scares me more than any rollercoaster.

Whimp, thy name is Cherie.

EMH went untill 1 that night but we decided to leave around midnight so we wouldn't get caught in the ocean of humanity trying to leave the park simultaniously.

But before we left, we had to get some photopass pics done so I could show off my handy dandy new photopass card.

It was almost 1 by the time we got back to our rooms. Poor Ethan laid down and was out before he could even get his pj's on.

up next.....let the phlegm begin....

Poor Ethan. Being sick at Disney World stinks. I hope he got to feeling better.

Danielle loved meeting the fairies too. Bailey looks like she's having a great little chat with Tink. I think we had the same Tink in June. She was just so darn cute.

I love your pictures in front of the Castle. Very frameworthy.

I think we should send you MIL to Disney with my sister.

Awww, what sweet pictures of Bailie meeting the fairies -- I adore them!

Okay, I cannot believe that MIL insisted on pushing the wheelchair! Oh my! :lmao: I wonder how many other people she managed to hit with it?

Great family pictures in front of the castle!

Poor Ethan -- I hope he feels better in the morning!

LOVE the family photos in front of the castle...

I failed to mention to Tailor that she could meet the fairies... :rolleyes1 "And the worst mother of the year award goes to.... OregonMommyof2!!!"

I know what you mean about the fairie pictures. I didn't like mine either!!

So great that Bailie finally got to meet Tink! :tinker: It's so much fun to get "shrunk" down to size.

Hey, I think you forgot a "meet" somewhere in there. :rolleyes1

Call me crazy. I don't like that Tinkerbell. She looks too old.
One hour wait to meet the fairies!!! I woulda been outta there.

Don't you just love the tension that comes with traveling with family. :rotfl:
I always say splitting up and doing your own thing is the best thing to do once in awhile. Poor Ethan, just so exhausted.

You were doing what any good WDW fanatic would do!!! Good job!:thumbsup2

.
I wish I could remember what they were talking about...it was really funny. She was really cute and perfect for the role.

Okay, I cannot believe that MIL insisted on pushing the wheelchair! Oh my! :lmao: I wonder how many other people she managed to hit with it?

!
Her mom used wheelchairs whenever she went anywhere for about 30 years, so mil had alot of "practice" pushing her mom around.
MIL even took one, yes she has her own and doesn't need it, to the county fair when she took the kids this summer. She pushed it around with her gallon water bottle in it so she could sit whenever she wanted.
My kids almost died of embarassment.

:scared1::scared1::scared1:
I don't blame you!

How did you survive your MIL? Is she going with you again?
NO!

That's so great that you and Bailie made the cut off for the fairies!!!

Denise

I might have had a wee bit of a tantrum if we missed it again.

oh my heck! I can't believe I forgot that!!! I can't find my pictures from it.

it's why I don't usually vacation with family!

:teacher:

While I was at my retreat over the weekend, some how disney was brought up.....I have no idea why.:rolleyes1
Actually it was one of my friends teasing me about my huge stash of disney scrapbook stuff.
I now have someone calling to help her out with planning their first trip.

I really should get paid for this.

Yeah, what IS it with MILs who need to do the whole control thing?? I just don't get it!

Love that grin (?) on your face in that first picture. If the Pluto wasn't staged, this one certainly was! :lmao:

HA! I'm like you- in a good effort to keep some sort of decorum, I have to restrain myself from jumping up and down and flapping my arms in glee in the parks, esp. the first hour. I so know I mortify my kids. Oh well, too bad!

Wendy and I have actually planned 5-6 vacations for people going to WDW.....

I think I was still talking when that was taken....not my most flatering picture ever.

that doesn't surprise me......will you plan mine for me?

Bailie and I high tailed it (ok where exactly does that saying come from anyway?) to Toon Town to meet Tink.

According to allwords.com....

"hightail
verb
To retreat quickly.

As soon as she arrived, I hightailed it out of there.

Etymology: Refers to animals, such as deer, that raise their tail when running away."

Too funny about your mil and the wheelchair. Bumper Cars is one ride they don't have at Disney.
