AS Family Suites and AAA

Has anyone had any luck getting AAA discount for ASFS? I changed my reservation for Aug. 10 and she said they FS available but not with AAA. But then again she misquoted me rate for 2 A/S separate rooms.

I used AAA for a family suite in January. I paid $159.00 a nite I believe.

Disney is now honouring discounts on the Suites, but the available rooms are limited. With just a little less than 200 Suites in total, and (at times) overlapping discounts (such as a Disney Code and AAA), you might not be able to get one on a discount.

Early August is still fairly busy in terms of attendance, although not one of the worst times of the year.

My suggestion is to call EVERY DAY. People often book/hold on a discount, and then either let the hold expire or cancel the ressie. If someone cancels a discounted ressie, it goes back into the system, and if you call at the right time, you can hopefully get it.

In the meantime, if you are definitely going to Disney at that time regardless of staying in the Suites, book a ressie anyway, and keep calling. If you get lucky, cancel your other ressie and get the Suite on your discount.

I have one booked at a AAA discount for Dec 13-21 and am paying $147.50.night, except for the night of Dec 19 and 20, because those nights are during the Holiday season.

I did have a AAA discount for our May trip, but had to change it.

I booked ASFS when AAA first came out for 2008 for August 14 to 28. I was at Disney in Jan and tried to switch to a bounce back but they didn't have the ASFS at the bounce back discount.

The discount would have been the same but if I wanted to upgrade to say the BC I would have to have the bounce back on my ASFS ressie to make the upgrade after I got home. In the end I decided to stick with the ASFS as it was about $90 cheaper per night than the BC would have been with bounce back. I am excited to try ASFS for the first time.

You may want to see if it just a few days that you can't get AAA on for your dates.
