AS Family Suites and 4/3 deal

I didn't book a family suite when I booked the 4/3 deal because I booked on the very first day it was available right at 5 PM and they weren't allowing family suites... since then I've read on here that people were able to book the deal with family suites...

My question is... what are the chances I can upgrade at check-in (and pay the discounted rate)? Has anyone done this successfully?

I booked teh first day also and was able to book the Fam Suites.

Hmmm... it didn't show up as an option when I booked... only standard and preferred rooms were available.

If its available they might let you do it but the family suites are probably the most popular room category at disney so dont count on it

Just returned and not only did I get the upgrade... but it was FREE!!!!!

I initially booked a family suite and then decided on 2 rooms at CSR. The family suites are very popular and probably sold out for the deal. But, keep calling and checking. People cancel all the time.
