As a child did you ever snoop?

Did you ever snoop through your parent's bedroom when they weren't around?

Yep and LOL about two things we found but I'm not telling! My friends use to do the same thing. My friend that lived next door found pictures of her parents having sex with another couple, we knew they were wild but not that wild! She also knew the other couple. It was tough going over there after seeing those pictures and yes the whole neighborhood of kids saw them.

Yep! I used to do it all the time. Once I found a box of condoms, but at the time, I had no idea what they were! I didn't figure it out until much later. When I was older, I found a bunch of military papers from/about my uncle that died when he came back from Vietnam that contained some pretty freaky stuff. Even at 23, I still wish I had never found them. That kind of curbed my snooping problem!

In my family we call it "koot nucking" it is the Hungarian words for snooping.

Yes I did it all the time as a kid. I stopped at about 10 when I saw some pictures my grandfather had from WWII.

Funny, I haven't thought about his in a long long time, but Yep. Only found anything interesting once, and it wasn't that exciting, a "Playboy" magazine... that's about as risque as it got!

But last week when I had to go searching through my dad's stuff to find some things for him. I found a whoooooole lot more than I ever wanted to know.

I never did. My mom was always teaching us about respecting other's privacy and it was such an issue that I don't think I would have even considered it. Of course I also knew that mom wouldn't be snooping around my room while I was gone either.

...and my mother would "die" if she knew the things I found in their room as a child. (I'm over 40 now - so that was a LONG time ago, but I would still never admit it!)

Those of you who are parents - I'll bet this post is giving you some things to think about, LOL!

No, because for some reason everything was fair game in our house anyway. There wasn't a drawer or a closet or anything that I wasn't in. Don't guess it was snooping because my parents were aware of this.

Never really snooped in my parent's room. I guess I figured there was nothing good there anyway.

As an interesting sidenote, I was once at a Christmas party at my boss' house with a bunch of co-workers. My boss' wife had put all our coats in her bedroom. Well, when we were getting ready to leave my co-workers (who had had WAY too much to drink!) decided to snoop in his bedroom. They actually opened up his closet door and looked in there. There was a LOT of naughty lingerie, not to mention a black studded dog collar and leash. Funny thing is, they had no dog

I could never look at the boss or his wife the same way again.
