Artist Point

Hey! I am just inquiring about Artist point. I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge many times but have never eaten here. Can anyone give me some information on the place. Personal Experiences? Highlights and lowlights? how was the food? Prices? Does it offer any kind of a good view? Any other tips or hints would be great! Thanks!

I have stayed at WL a few times but only got around to having dinner a Artist Point this last December. I had been back in 96 when they had a character breakfast and wasn't that impressed with the place though we sat next to a windo with a nice view of the pool, lake and geyser.
This December we were there after dark for dinne and it seemed much nicer. We did not have a view. The service was excellent as was all of the foods we had. It was an expensive meal though but I would do it again.

The food is very good and the service is excellent. It has a somewhat relaxed atmosphere so you really don't have to dress up. We even saw a few, well-behaved children having dinner. Depending on where you sit you might get a view of the courtyard/pool area but we sat in the interior portion so I can't say with certainty. We had the salmon and the scallops which were extremely tasty!

We just ordered entrees and if I were to go back I would order the Chefs Northwest Selection Fixed Price Dinner for $49... BUT the salmon was not offered with this dinner last week as it is listed on the menu at AllEarsNet. Had it been I think all in our group would have ordered this dinner that includes the soup, salad, entree and dessert.

Two of us had the buffalo sirloin... it was very good. My wife had the salmon which she loved. Another had scallops which she loved. BUT portions are a bit refined (small) and if you eat like a horse (like I do) then your gonna want the soup, salad and dessert to compliment the entree....

If I ever go back I'd order the package deal... not sure why the salmon isn't on there anymore. Well actually I think I have an idea... another way to make more $$$$.

It certainly was one of the best steaks that I have had.

Dinner at Artist Point has been, since it opened, the best dining experience at WDW. We try to visit at least every other year. The food is excellent and the service is stellar.

I couldn't have said it better myself. We visit multiple times throughout the year, and it is a place where we take out of town guests and first timers to disney. Everyone we take loves it and it becomes their favorite restaurant of their whole vacation.

The food and service have always been top notch since day one..pretty amazing by Disney standards.

I went to Artist Point for the first time last year w/ DF. It was phenomenal! We did not have an ADR (or PS as it was called then), and we only had to wait 30 minutes. After spending the day in the crowded MK, this was quite the treat. The restaurant was very quiet and romantic. We had a nice view of the pool area. I ordered the Roasted Chicken Breast but substituted the mac & cheese for potatoes and DF ordered the Hatfield Pork Chop. They were both delicious! For dessert we has their Berry Cobbler w/ homemade sorbet and decaf coffee from a french press. So yummy! We both still talk about the Cobbler and cannot wait to have it on our next trip. I highly recommend Artist Point
