We've stayed at WL 5x but have never eaten at AP. We have an ADR for in Dec and I've heard on Dis and on the Podcast about sitting by the window for your meal. What do you see by sitting at the window? a waterfall?

We have a 5:35 ADR so I'm assuming it would be easy to get a window seat but just curious what the hype is about it! Thanks!

it will depend on what side of the restaurant as to what you will see. yes, the courtyard on one side and over looking the trees toward bay lake.:yay:

The window seats on the right side as you enter the restaurant overlook a waterfall. We had one of those tables once for an anniversary dinner with our children. :goodvibes Maybe that's why we got it. ;)

thanks!! if we keep the ADR I'll be sure to request a window seat. I'm assuming we'll have the first seating of the night since our ADR is 5:35 and they open at 5:30!!!

Since you will be there at opening be sure to ask for the table by the window with the waterfall view. It is the best view IMHO. Also, my DW and I really like the food at AP. They usually have a fixed price special with appetizer, entree and dessert that is a pretty good value for WDW. The portobello mushroom soup and berry tart are on this menu and are delicious. They also have some very nice wine flights if you like wine.

In December it will be pretty dark by 5:30 p.m. and totally dark by 6 p.m. There is not much to see from the windows when it's dark.

We were at AP a month ago. They no longer offer the fixed price menu option.
