Artist Point - outdoor dining view???

I haven't heard much about this from the boards, but has anyone experienced this view?

"Best Outdoor Dining: The terrace at Artist Point (tel. 407/939-3463), the premier restaurant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, overlooks a lake, waterfall, and scenery evocative of America's national parks. "

There is no terrace and no outdoor dining. There are some big windows that overlook the courtyard area and you can see the waterfall through the windows. We've eaten at AP many times because we think the food is wonderful, but there are much better views at other restaurants. Don't know where that information came from . . .

I agree! AP is great but there isn't much to see out of the windows. Unless the "terrace" is something new they've added on?

isn't there ONE outdoor table?

it's kinda high up - i think it might overlook a walking path or something...it's not on a terrace...but out a doorway from the dining room (kinda across from the kitchen) onto a balcony type thing?

thought i remembered seeing something like that?

Not that I remember seeing. We've eaten there six times or so, but I guess we could have missed it . . .

Maybe the author had one too many drinks and just IMAGINED the outdoor dining!

We ate at Artist Point for the first time a few weeks ago. We had a table for 2 at the window. The windows were a bit fogged up that night but Fiance and I could see a balcony/terrace area out there and a door a few tables from us. Never saw anyone coming or going from there and don't remember any seeing any outdoor seating. We would have sat out there in a heartbeat, it was a beautiful night!

maybe I'm confused too, but I thought there was an outdoor table, as you walk in the dining area, on the right about where the dining room opens up, I thought there was an outdoor table. hmm. Guess I'll just have to have another cedar plank salmon and berry cobbler to find out.

Allears show a picture of the outdoor seating. It looks like at least six tables set up.

In all the times we've done Artist Point (about six now) never saw anyone seated at the "outdoor tables".
