Artist Point - Dress/Transportation Question

Reservations for Artist Point at 6:30 this Tuesday. WooHoo.

The questions:

Dress - Reservation CM said "nice park clothes" would be fine and when I asked here, received the same response. Has anyone been in the last two weeks? What were people wearing? We were planning on MK that day so it seems silly to go back to the resort to change and then back to WL, and since we sould want to return to MK if we did that, we'd be over dressed....

Transportation - should we decide to return to POP from MK and then go to WL for dinner: how much time should we allow so as not to have to rush.

Hi,

You will see all kinds of clothes in Artists Point. As long as you don't show up in a tank top if you are a man, or a swimsuit no matter which gender, you will find people dressed like you are!

If you decide to go back to POP I'd suggest you take a taxi direct to WL. It is definitely the fastest and easiest way to get there. If not, allow at least an hour (it may take you a little less if the buses and ferry are waiting for you, rather than you waiting for them.

I agree with Bob P. My travel agent suggested "dressy casual". Like cacky pants and polo for DH and I would wear jeans (that's ALL I wear) and a nice top or sweater (we're going at the end of the year). We can dress this way for when we'll be there as we're staying at the WL and there won't be a concern about going back to a park dressed up. The PassPorter says "business casual", which they describe as "no shorts, t-shirts, hats, swimsuits, swim coveralls, tank tops, torn clothing or flip-flops." I take this to mean you can get away with quite a bit here.
