Artist Point Confirmed to Become a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Character Dinner

Putting these particular characters in Wilderness Lodge makes zero thematic sense. What a joke.

It could fit in with the theme of the "Boulder Ridge Railway & Mining Company", the reimagined copper creek pool which is a quarry with left-over mining equipment, etc.

I think in the year 2000 all the family went to a character breakfast at Artist Point with Winne the Pooh/Tigger and E..... i know cause the one grand child was a tiny little guy and Winne knocked him over!! on accident of course..

From what I was told from a waiter, it’s going to be 4 characters including Snow White. Should be open for Xmas time. Will not be a buffet, only dinner, and remain signature restaurant. Looks to be a 2 month renovation.

If this is true, I certainly hope they turn WCC into a quiet 1 TS restaurant. I love WCC, but we are thinking of adding more DVC points at BRV and will want a quiet dinner every now and then without leaving the resort. We are not interested in a character meal, just a quiet adults-only dinner. Our favorite restaurant right now is The Wave, so we would be ok if WCC was turned into something similar just with a rustic feel.

Sleepy might have a hard time staying awake
Grumpy and Bashful..... meet & greet all those kids might be stressful

I'm wondering how they will be able to still serve signature level entrees, while appealing to families with young children who won't eat anything besides chicken nuggets or what have you.

Not that I care - great food and Snow White? Love it!!! Do you think they would have the Evil Queen???

I got a picture with both of them at character plazoola a few years back. Let me tell you the line was crazy for them. On top of that the chemistry they had was so much fun. If they are there together I think they will get a lot of people's money. IMO I think Disney needs to do more talking character meals. Bon Voyage I haven't done but I've heard good things so far. I think its time for a villain character meal somewhere or maybe one with Jack Sparrow, Barbosa, Peter pan, Tink or a talking hook. Would be fun.

I don't get it, Disney even saw the insanity at the Unleash the Villains events ............ may be their biggest selling group behind Princesses. If they had Villains meals, it be the hardest ADR to get. Look at their meets, the lines are always long. AND I would add, build a generic Villain restaurant theme and then rotate them. Maybe a couple standard that are easy to cast then rotate 2 or 3.

CRT serve nuggets and charge 2TS. It may not be signature, just expensive.

Yes I did the Club Villain. We went to the second one they did, sold out and it was amazing. Probably the best value for anything we have done at Disney. The other events Unleash the Villains was in fall and August. One free for all and a chaotic mess and one was ticketed and almost as bad. Just don't know how to do a party at DHS that isn't a private event. But the crowds alone THRILLED to be at a Villain event should tell them.

As long as Disney Springs has independently-owned restaurants, those will be character-free.

Overall there really are not that many character meals. I don't think you have to worry.
