I see that Deb's site shows that last year Artist Point had special holiday offerings in addition to their regular menu. Does anyone know what those offerings were? Thanks!

I will be interested in seeing the answer to this too, we have an adr for 7.00pm Christmas Day, will we see you there ?

Hopefully! I can't make my dining ressies until Monday (we are not arriving until 12/22), so we will have to wait and see what I can get!

We had a wonderful meal there christmas night 2005. The menu was usual with a special pork dish...(nothing like turkey and fixins). The atmosphere is so perfect for the holiday and we sat at the fireplace rockers and they were giving out punch and cookies before our adr. We were even allowed to use dvc discount(which I think they can refuse for the holiday). Last year we had DDP and ate at Calif Grill for xmas night. We will be there for xmas this year and would definitely return to Artist Point...great atmosphere and meal.

We almost booked AP for Christmas day, but instead decided to do Candlelight Processional that day and went for Chefs de France in Epcot. We are doing AP on the 23rd though......guess we will miss the punch and cookies. :sad1:

:thumbsup2

Sounds great! How about California Grill....did they have any specials for the holiday or just their regular menu?

Calif Grill was the best meal we have had at WDW since we became dvc members in 1994 and we have had many memorable ones. There was a special starter, entree and dessert for the day, but regular menu otherwise. We were on DDP so we all had appet, entree and dessert and everything was fantastic. Five adults(really one 16 year old in the five) and that meal (without alcohol) was over $560 and we paid a little less than $1000 for 5 people for 5 nights DDP...so if was definitely worth 2 TS. Service and atmosphere was wonderful. Watching Wishes was also a plus. Highly recommend it.

PS- I think WL has punch and cookies in the lobby on days before xmas also.
