Artist Point at WL

Hi everyone - we are only 7 days away from our trip to the World.


Can someone that has recently had dinner at Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge) answer a question for me?

I saw a program on the Travel Channel regarding Disney Dining - Artist Point was featured and showed choices of one dinner to include a sampler of venison, elk & lamb and a separate dinner with buffalo steak. My husband has always wanted to try elk and buffalo. I though it would give us a chance to try both. When I looked at the menu on Deb's site (updated 8/05) it does not show elk being on the menu - is this a seasonal offering or do they actally have Elk and Buffalo both on their menu and just not shown on Deb's site?? Are the menu's complete menus on her site or just a sampling?

Sorry, that isn't on the menu currently.

They do have the buffalo steak though and it is quite delicious. Always hard to chose between that and the salmon.

They do offer the 4 course meal, you get soup (smokey portobello), choice of salad (two different ones if I remember correctly), choice of three entrees and choice of dessert (the cobbler or one other) for around $47 before tax per person. You can also add a wine flight to that. The entire meal/all choices are totally outstanding. We (hubby, myself and our adult children) have always love artist point, this 4 course meal makes it all that much more fun.
