The Pool Bar at the Bay Lake Tower gave us a discount at the pool bar for chicken wraps. Bartender asked if I was DVC and he took a few bucks off a $30.00 order. I am not sure if that snack bar is considered quick service.

Thar was pixie dust because DVC members don’t get discounts on QS meals/food.

We are in Disney. The pint or I think it was a 1/2 pint was $4.99. When I visit, I like to pick up a few water bottles to make coffee in my room since I don't have a car. It adds up you know. Anywhere you can save some money is a help but I guess everyone are millionaires on this board. It's the principal of inconsistent rules across Disney property.

As mentioned, you should go back and talk with someone because it may be a few new CMs who are doing it wrong….because they don’t realize it applies to everything…

We go 4 to 6 times a year and have been to all the locations, including AP, and the discount has been given..

FYI - unless recently changed, Disney Food Items such as Mickey Bars do not get the discount at the resort stores. That's why we always get a pint of Ice Cream as our dessert. And we always ask everywhere if there is an AP, DVC, Vet, Senior or Good Looking Discount. A lot of times if you don't ask, they won't automatically give you a discount.

That was our experience at our last stay at AKV. We got zebra domes at the Mara out of the cold shelves, but did not get a discount.

We got it on them in March when we stayed one night…that is interesting that it may have changed the rules for speciality items.

Or this is an example of pixie dust since we also had bottled drinks.
